Dr Jacome literally saved my mother’s life. He is truly an amazing Dr and surgeon. He and his office staff and PA Justin are a blessing.

An exceptional doctor with incredible skills and knowledge. He has always listen to me while maintaining a very professional, and compassionate approach. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I feel lucky to have found such a great doctor.

Dr. Jacome is a master of his craft and is in my opinion gifted by God to be the most precise and highly skilled of all surgeons in the entire world. It is not often that a physician who has operated on thousands of patients to have a photographic memory in an instant of each band of tissue he previously worked with and have instant knowledge of exactly what your insides look like and should look like should any issue arise later without the need to review although I am confident he does thoroughly review. For any abdominal surgical needs you can be confident in his hands! For someone so skilled and purely gifted and talented to be in Augusta instead of somewhere more prestigious is a miracle. Ask any Nurse about his availability for any post op questions and it is clear he is not normal. Everyone on the operating team from anesthesiologist down to the OR sanitation team enjoys the shift when he is on call. Doctors are only human but not this guy, he is a super hero!

As a veteran of 28 years serving in the Army Medical Department I have been around medicine/ healthcare most of my life. Wow, finally a doctor that has all the answers to your questions and can back them up with research and years of experience in his field of study. Dr. Jacome was able to give an overview of his services and the importance of each in a manner it was very easy to understand. After hearing all the pertinent information associated with my per surgery status, I actually felt like for the first time in many years wanting to take care of myself and doing the what I needed to do to be healthy again. Walking to my car I felt better just knowing what was ahead of me. I know I am in great hands and look forward to the day my life restarts!

Dr. Jacome performed robotic hernia repair on me in March 2019. I walked out of the hospital on my own and recovery was uneventful. I highly recommend him for his skill, enthusiasm, and energy that he brings to the operating room. He is very encouraging and personable.

Very pleased with him. He knew it was my gall bladder right away. I was not put off like the gastroenterologist did to me. Dr. Jacome listened to me and moved right away to solve the problem. I went for months with bad pain and no one would help me, or listen to me. I was at my wits end. Dr. Jacome scheduled the surgery and performed the operation as soon as possible and I had some follow up visits too. I am 100% back to normal now, after 2 months!. He saved my life.

Dr. Jacome is an excellent doctor. He takes time with the patient to explain what is going on. Answers questions in way that is easy to understand. Very nice demeanor.
