Recently, a few days before I was about to leave town for several months, I saw Dr. Cervoni Ruiz for my annual physical. After going through his checklist of questions, and just before our visit was to end, I mentioned that I had occasionally experienced some tightness in my chest. He immediately said I should be checked by a cardiologist. I protested, saying there wasn't time before my trip to schedule such a visit. He picked up his phone, reached another medical office, and, after explaining I was about to leave town, directed me to the office of a cardiologist in the same medical building. Within five minutes, I was ushered in to see the cardiologist, who scheduled me for a stress test the very next day. I took the test, passed with flying colors, and was advised about how to deal with what might be heartburn and indigestion. I have had no issues since and went on my trip with a clear mind. I so appreciate having such a proactive and caring physician as Dr. Cervoni Ruiz.

He referred me to a retina specialists when I needed an optometrist. I was billed $300 for an unnecessary procedure. He would not respond to multiple phone calls or a letter regarding the matter. I was stuck with the bill. He has no integrity. Do not select him as your physician.

I presented to establish as a new patient with concerns about headaches. He seemed uninterested in my complaints, treated me like I was a drug seeker because of the medications I am on (Which he made sure to tell me he would not be able to prescribe and I would HAVE to go to a pain management clinic, keep in mind, I did not ask for a prescription). Then he proceeds to tell met hat I have sleep apnea without me complaining of sleep issues or choking while I sleep. Stay away from this guy.
