20 years at least with Dr Palermo. Loved his medical care for me. His staff knew me well and treated me with kindness and respect. More recently, things have changed. He hired a nurse practitioner. That's when the personal care from the doctor changed, you got to see doctor less. Big turnover in staff. 2 messages left for doctor, 1 for nurse. Not a return call. Not sure why doctor would not return my call, heart failure recently diagnosed while I was in the hosp., wanted to talk to the doctor, his manager in office ask many questions, tells me doctor is very busy, he has a new staff position in union hosp. She screens his calls, I dont know if the doctor knows or if he is just not returning calls. Due to the above treatment I had to change doctors. I am sorry to the change, I hated to leave.

He is an excellent cardiologist . I’ve had horrible experiences with the staff however with booking appointments and show up and not on the books. Recently just received a no show invoice for an appointment that I wasn’t even aware of.

I’ve been taking my mom to Dr. Palermo for years. He is very attentive, patient and listens well. The staff is a breath of fresh air from the previously quite rude staff. The new staff are so polite and friendly. I’d give one star off for the wait time but it’s worth it for the professional care.

I took my mother to see Dr. Palermo last week and was blown away at how the office staff have changed incredibly for the better. Our experience at his office has never been so accommodating, personable, positive, and pleasant. They have made some much needed changes after listening to patients and certainly followed through. Their new office staff are happy and really show they care. I would've always recommended Dr. Palermo but now can absolutely say his staff is top of the line as well.

I have taken my mother to see Dr. Palermo for the past couple of years. Even though I like Dr. Palermo, who is quite knowledgeable in his field, my mother (93) and I have had to wait a minimum of 2 hours in his waiting room EACH time we've had an appointment. That is extremely hard on my mom..!! And, the girls at the front desk..!!! Totally rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. It's time to move on to another doctor. I can't put my mother through that kind of misery anymore. Or me..

i have been talking client's to Dr. Palermo for 11 years. in the beginning, it was a very nice office, with nice professional staff. no complaints then. But now.... somewhere in the last 2-3 years, the old office staff have been replaced with new. the new staff are rude, unhelpful and generally unpleasant. it takes months to get an appointment, no flexibility at all, it's either their way or you don't see the doctor. messages never seem to make it to the doctor and are never returned.

Very difficult to schedule an appointment. They do not agree with what the insurance company requires them to do about collecting or fees they charge. The whole staff is very rude.

I have been a patient of Dr. Palermo for over 6 years but not any more! His staff has to be the most unpleasant of any I have ever had to deal with! They are borderline rude and do not show any concern for your needs. I just can't understand how a good doctor would put up with that. Either way my last visit and I have found another doctor just as good but with a wonderful caring staff!

Dr. Palermo is very personable and knows what he is doing. However, his office staff needs to be fired, especially those at the front desk. One in particular, Liz, was very rude to my wife, and to her primary care physician. She even sent a letter to my wife, telling her she is no longer a patient of Dr. Palermo. My wife and I both are no longer patients of Dr. Palermo.

Doctor seemed very nice in person. Follow up leaves a lot to be desired. His staff are sloppy & unprofessional & just simply rude. So if you can't speak with the doctor or even get your message to the doctor then it doesn't matter how nice or good the doctor is. Too many others to choose from that can give the same medical advice & care. If he decides to upgrade his staff then I would go back.

I believe a physician is as good as the people he/she has working around them. Dr. Palermo has some of the most unprofessional people working in his office as I have ever seen. They are rude and treat a majority of his patients like a complete inconvenience. His office is completely too busy. If you are unable to see your patients for 2-3 months then there is something very wrong. It's not the quantity of patients, it's the quality of care. Try getting to him. His staff is the worst.

absolutely 0 chance of returning to Dr. Palermo -previously had great experience now when in need of an appt for a needed surgery and having a heart issue requiring clearance an apt per his nurse Liz is 3 months out and no chance to be able to be squeezed in to approve the surgery - maybe if her mother needed surgery she'd understand why this is totally unacceptable
