Saved My Life
Dr. Caputo worked along with Dr. Patrick Vargo to repair my extensive aortic aneurysm. I travelled from South Carolina to the Cleveland Clinic to have this procedure and discovered that not only Dr. Vargo would be performing the surgery but also Dr. Caputo. Both surgeons took excellent care of me. I am one year out of this surgery and visited Dr. Caputo for my follow up. He is kind and professional -so grateful to have discovered him. These doctors and surgeons saved my life and I am so grateful for their expertise. The Cleveland Clinic deserves every accolade and consistently high rating in patient care and coronary vascular surgery. The doctors are top notch.

The wait was long and he only spent about 5 mins total with me. He immediately came in the room and said you don’t want surgery again before any testing was done. He recommended PT and when I said I tried it and was told they couldn’t help me, he immediately stated well that just isn’t true. There were no explanations and he had a very arrogant attitude. I have arterial and neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which is a rare disorder. I am blacking out and having trouble with my blood pressure but apparently that isn’t a concern for surgery in his opinion. I don’t recommend this doctor I was just a number not a person going through something difficult and scary.
