Excellent at what they do

I truly believe that any other surgeon would not have been able to pull off the procedure I went through with such success. Every day I get up and feel good, I know I have her to thank for that. I feel extremely lucky to have found such a great surgeon. She is fantastic.

Dr. Tekula informs you of all available treatment options and explains the benefits and risks. She is always upbeat and positive, very welcoming.

Dr Tekula FIXED my back!! !! I had to have rods, pins, artificial disc, cadaver disc.. 9-1/2 hour surgery. That was 5 years ago, I am pain-free, and proof of how GREAT she is!!

Dr Tekula is the 3rd surgeon to do surgery on my spine and the 5th I've visited so I think I know a thing at this stage of the game.??. Her & her staff are the most knowledgeable, caring & compassionate of any I've been to in 20 years. She took great pains to look at all my health issues, not just my spine. No other surgeon ever did that. She honestly cared about my pain as did PA David Tann and all her staff. I simply can't praise them enough. I have never encountered a single person who is rude, uncaring or impatient in all my appointments or phone calls. My telehealth appointments have been as satisfactory as in person visits. I very much appreciate how CIO is working to keep everyone safe from the covid virus. They are taking ever precaution and that is so important at this time. I simply can't recommend Dr Tekula, David Tann & CIO any higher. I won't even consider going anywhere else and I'm thankful my previous surgeon retired so I was able to be blessed with Dr Tekula.

I had a near emergency large stenovial cyst in my spinal column, pinching my spinal cord. It caused excruciating pain in my lower back, radiating down both legs to point I couldn't sit, stand or walk at times. Upon my first visit, Dr Tekula immediately identified the cyst and the vertebrae that caused the cyst. She thoroughly gave me all the options to fix my problem. Never wanting to go through this pain again, we (Dr Tekula and myself) chose to correct the cause of the cyst and remove it as well, to prevent any chance of reoccurrence. This meant a back fusion, which many of my friends warned against due to their poor experience. Dr Tekula's open, confident demeanor and obvious expertise made it easy for me to readily agree to the surgery. It was done 3 days later with total success. I'm now 6 months out feeling better than I had in years. I highly recommend Dr Tekula & her staff to anyone having back problems without any hesitation. I'd travel out of state, if I ever need her again.

Very happy with outcome

I am very pleased with the results of my surgery on 5-20-19. I had lower lumbar surgery with fusion, spacer and some bone removal. I have been pain-free since my surgery and I continue to progress as planned. Dr. Tekula and Heather Stidd, PA spent as much time as was needed to answer all of my questions prior to surgery and in the 2 follow up appointments I have had continued to answer all of my questions with no restriction on time. I am so happy the surgery was successful with NO sciatica pain. I am so happy with her and her staff. They are all very kind when I have an appointment.

DrTekula has always been up front I would recommend her to anyone always very please with the outcome I had 1 back surgery and I am very happy of the outcome

I've had 2 lumbar surgeries by Dr. Tekula and am facing a third one. I never even considered any one else. I'm a health professional and have recommended her to family and friends. Her knowledge, with her skills and bedside manner, you will be hard pressed to find comparable care.

Not at all impressed. She did not pay attention to my original complaints and her dictations are not in line with what I told her. I am a medical healthcare professional. She seemed to be resentful and intimidated that I had an opinion of what I wanted and did not want from her suggested care and was not happy at all when I confronted her about the discrepancies in her dictations. She then made derogatory remarks about me in future dictations. Technical skills are okay.

I feel dr tekula is honest with you and she has done two back surgeries on me and i would not have any other doctor . She is great at what she does.
