Fantastic doctor
I just had my colonoscopy with Dr LuShe was great, came and spoke with us before the procedure, gave a great update to my wife after the procedure. Great bedside manners, she showed she cares, very friendly. The staff at Petaluma valley hospital is very caring and friendly. Will definitely go back to her for any GI needs.

Not recommended- zero bedside manner
I was having some painful esophagus issues, so I called Providence to make an appt. with a gastroenterologist. I was not given a appt. or a choice of a Dr. No appt, they just scheduled me for a endoscopy in 2022 and that is when I first met Dr. Lu. She has zero bedside manner, cold, uncaring and all business. I was not impressed. She did a biopsy. She said, there is no tumor, there is redness, inflammation and prescribed a RX for me. She said, to schedule a colonoscopy, seriously! I did not want to go back to her. Sept. 2023 - I am still having issues, even worse now. I called to schedule a appt. and requested a different Dr. The receptionist said, I could see a NP and I could NOT change Drs.!I explained to her, that I did not choose Dr. Lu, she was appointed to me and it is my right as a patient, to have a Dr. that I choose. I will not be going back to Providence gastroenterology!

The Best!
Excellent! I have long standing Gastro problems and she was the very best Gastro doc that I’ve ever seen.

Dr Lu preformed an EGD at Santa rosa memorial hospital for me. The procedure was uncomplicated and went well. Dr.Lu was kind and polite and communicated well.
