Dr. Florence Jameson, MD

I have never had such a distressing experience in all of the years I have been a patient at an Obstetrics / Gynecologist. Dr. Jameson completely ignored my statements, failed to listen to my concerns, and proceeded to administer my annual without discussing any changes or alterations I presented. She then was extremely rude about my birth control, stated that women my age (41) shouldn't take birth control and that it was likely I'd die from a stroke from taking said birth control. The manner and tone in which she used were demanding, un-sympathetic, and agitated, ultimately resulting in my leaving the office in tears and experiencing a panic attack. Following said test, my results came back concerning and to this day, (over a month), Dr. Jameson has not contacted me for further testing or a follow up. I am leaving this review to make what has happened to me known and prevent it from occurring to someone else. I would not recommend his office, and it is very unprofessional.

Experienced! She takes her time explaining things to me.

This is who my mom took me to for three years and i hated every single visit. She is very dismissive and ignores what I say. Asks do you have painful periods? i say yes and start explaining the pain, and she cuts you off and says “thats normal.” She mostly talks into her microphone to “take notes” but instead of repeating exactly what you say, she “summarizes” & its not quite what you say, if that makes sense. The last visit she left me in tears, not only from a painful examination (this was the first time it was painful and i started BLEEDING) & she blamed me for it. literally said “wait why are u bleeding, are u a virgin? its your fault for not telling me” even tho she was talking over me when i said that i was. Um & forcefully took me off birth control when i needed it to regulate my periods. Also left my mom & sister in tears when my sis had a cyst rupture. She offered zero solutions for the ovarian cyst. yelled at my mom for mentioning meds. didnt even suggest birth control..

Dr. Florence Jameson besides being a very skilled and experienced clinician is also a very compassionate and determined person. For my case, she did not stop analyzing until she found the cause of my health issue . She assured me as she was finishing my exam ‘ We will solve this! Prior to consulting Dr. Jameson, I saw several specialists, had a CT scan at an emergency room and nobody even came close to identifying the cause of my abdominal pain and bloating. Dr. Jameson figured out my issue by analyzing data from the CT image and the transabdominal ultrasound. Her staff is also amazing especially Laura who assisted in my exam, expedited work and directed me to the right hospital. I am grateful for Dr. Jameson’s staff for taking my calls and gathering my health documents. On the day I went to the emergency room, Dr. Jameson made urgent calls to Dr. Futoran to see me. My take was that they made time for me given their extremely busy schedules. I am eternally grateful to all of you.

A compassionate and knowledgeable doctor that connects and listens to her patients. Her office is efficient and well ran.

Dr. Jameson is a wonderful doctor! I chose her for my OB with my first pregnancy. I was only 16 & met with a few other obgyn who made me feel so ugly inside. Being 16 and pregnant, I felt bad. Then I found Dr. Jameson who completely changed my entire experience for the best. She was very patient, helpful,caring and the kindest woman I have met. I say this almost 20yrs after my pregnancy and birth experience with Dr. Jameson! I loved her she and her staff were amazing group. Thank you Dr. Jameson

She is not accepting new patients

She is kind and caring. I have been going to her for 20+ years. She is brilliant and quick with her diagnosis. She does not leave you waiting to find out results. She called me at home at 9 pm with the results of that day's cancer tests and connected me up with the very best surgeon within 24 hours. I live 300 miles from her office and I wouldn't give her up for all the gold in the world.
