Dr. Floragrace Surell, MD

She was always disinterested and unhelpful as my PCP. I saw her for multiple appointments over a span of a year. She continued to refer me to multiple specialists rather than trying to find solutions for my health overall mentally and physically. Separately I met with a specialist and also another PCP (NOT Dr. Surell) elsewhere within the Hoag network, and had better experiences and was put on track to better my health physically and mentally. YOU WILL NOT receive anything helpful or good from “Dr.” Florgrace Surell. I came here to help others by saying how extremely DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED I am in wasting so much time meeting “Dr.” Floragrace Surell. She is disinterested in your health concerns physically and mentally, and constantly will refer to a specialist. She plays costume as a doctor all day. Is she even a real doctor? Do not see her or let your children see her, it is a death sentence.

Too bad it is not possible to give ZERO STARS. Avoid Dr. Surrell and her office like the plague. The only individual on her team who showed any effort in providing customer service is Nick. Aside from him, the experience of being a patient of Dr. Surrell has been a disgrace to the Hoag name and a massive headache.First, when you visit Dr. Surrell for any appointment, she spends the majority of her visit staring at her computer and filling out basic notes. She lacks ability to show interest and connection to her patients.Second, on standard medication I have been receiving since I was an elementary student into my adult years (which other doctors instantly prescribe and understand), she undergoes a line of questioning that is so pedantic and unnecessary it shows a true lack of experience, creating a need for unnecessary visits with her to bill you in order to continue getting the medication you are on and have been on for decades.Third, on a separate occasion of visiting her offic
