Excellent glaucoma specialist!
Dr. Zaman took his time explaining everything to me regarding the blindness I have in my left eye. He took his time to explain what was the next step and how we were going to proceed. I have a much better understanding now than I did before. He is on top of his game and makes sure you understand everything he is saying to you and encourages you to ask questions! I recommend him to those struggling with glaucoma.

He lives up to the hype.
Before my first visit, I heard many great things from Dr. Zaman's patients about how considerate, helpful, and attentive he is. After two visits, I can say he more than lived up to the hype. He will be my ophthalmologist for the duration of my time in Houston which is hopefully until I retire. He really knows his stuff and yet he's so approachable. I highly highly recommend him!

I had high eye pressure for a whole year under the care of dr. Zaman. My pressure was in the 50’s and have lost some vision because he couldn’t get my pressure down. Dr. zaman would say I was too young to have surgery. I decided to see another specialist. My new doctor scheduled me an emergency surgery the same week He saw me because he said the only way to bring the pressure down is with surgery if eye drops don’t work. If I had stayed with dr. zaman I would have been completely blind by now.

I am a living, breathing testimony to how wonderful Dr Zaman is! After my eye exam he had the wisdom to order a CT scan and a very large tumor was found on my pituitary gland. The surgery was successful, the tumor was benign and my vision is better. Hallelujah! Praise God and Dr. Zaman!
