Dr. Fernando Hernandez, MD

This doctor is rude and arrogant,he actually had the nerve to eat while my sister thought she may be having a heart attack that he just dismissed. I will be looking into another way of reporting him for negligence

He is a doctor, but I wouldn't call him a caregiver.

A concern I had about my foot was assessed accurately by Dr. Hernandez as being caused only by the extreme stress I'd experienced; once the stress source was gone, the issue vanished. Very insightful, thank you.

I was first consulted by Dr. Hernandez in early 2019 for a cough; he suggested an X-ray, but I’m wary of anything invasive (such as X-rays effects on health), so I declined the X-ray and felt glad that he did not insist. His diagnosis was accurate without the X-ray, the cough was quickly gone; afterwards I’ve been treated by Dr. Hernandez for cardiological, neurological, and other physical-pain complaints and his diagnoses were always accurate and supported by prompt referrals when needed. Dr. Hernandez has much medical experience (including in the military); and is highly knowledgeable, passionate about his job; he is also kind, which matters in the medical field. Since I work as a contractor at multiple locations, it’s great to see there are Care Now clinics where I can find my doctor in case of emergency. Because I am feeling so much better after the treatments, I sincerely recommend Dr. Hernandez to all who seek above-average medical help.

I came in after dropping a 40 lb dumbbell on my fingertip. This doctor quickly said it was broken by looking at it. He said Xray was optional because his treatment was to splint it either way. I asked him what if it was broken into multiple pieces? He said I can figure out if it was broken myself after a couple of weeks if it isn't getting better then its broken else its just a bad bruise. So he didn't really know if it was broken. I didn't trust him so took it to a hand specialist who Xrayed and confirmed it broke into many pieces and treated me correctly. She said either he didn't know how to read Xrays or was trying to save the urgent care some money and that I should report him to the medical director and what he said rang alarm bells for her. Stay away from this doctor and wherever he works.
