Not happy with my care
I am very disappointed with my care through Dr. De Zarraga. My diagnosis was delayed for almost two months because of issues in communication and scheduling. He does not look at test or lab results until you are sitting in his exam room and then refuses to take responsibility for any issues that arise from lack of follow-up. I would change oncologists but fear it may jepordize my care moving forward. He is defensive, brusk and does not appear to care about my prespective and concerns.

Dr. De Zárraga has always discussed with me my diagnosis and treatment and has clearly explained all phases of it. Dr. De Zárraga listens to all my questions and has always demonstrated his professional concern over my well-being, not as a "disease" but as a person with a disease. He was my deceased husband's oncologist; so, when I had to choose an oncologist, I didn't hesitate In choosing Dr. De Zárraga. Keep him in mind!
