I thought Dr. Lester was great. She helped me with many things. I do want to point out though, that if they are going to ask about mental disorders they should actually understand a thing or two about mental disorders. When she learned I have OCD she did say some insensitive and ignorant things about me having OCD, but other than those few comments she made she was a great doctor!

Dr. Lester coached the resident who delivered my baby and also him stitch me up afterwards at UCSF, during my vbac. I had really wanted to monitor pushing during delivery and asked for a mirror (this was in my birth plan), but both my birth plan and verbal request were ignored; she didn't even say no we can't" - nothing was said, which was very disappointing for me. During recovery, I had a lot of questions for her, but the nurse in postpartum told me that I wasn't allowed to talk the doctors.
