Worse than bad
As one of his first patients I waited nearly 2 yrs for him come of his office while I was 'treated' by a PA. Then was grossly overdosed with concentrated insulin, which brought me to 400 lbs (Insulin makes fat) He disregards all attempts to remediate errors, or answer direct letters. He SOMEHOW has been awarded as good Dr. - but this is likely BS politics) HE ISNT

Excellent Doctor
Having Type 1 diabetes for 50+ years, Dr. Caldarella is by far the most knowledgeable doctor I have had. His patience, expertise and human nature has encouraged me to want to do better. I have been a patient of his for approximately 15 years and not once in that time has he ever been condescending or judgmental. He listens and understands the struggles of having a chronic illness and the daily stresses of life. Highly recommend this incredible doctor!

Dr. Caldarella laughed at me and said I would be overweight for the rest of my life, shortly after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism Hashimoto's 5 years ago when I was only 24 (I have the rest of my life to live). I kept searching, read some of the most innovative thyroid literature out there (Dr. Datis Kharrazian's and Dr. Izabella Wentz's works), eventually found a functional naturopath who is willing to treat the root underlying cause of my thyroid problem. Run far away from him!

Doctor Caldarella is the first of five doctors I saw for hypothyroidism to sit down and explain the disorder to me. He told me that doctors ought to be teachers first, and I deeply appreciate his attitude.
