Dr. Milla is now practicing in Denver, CO. He has years of experience and is HIGHLY skilled in heart valve repair surgery. This is a rapidly evolving field. So, current experience is a must. I interviewed Dr. Milla (prior to surgery) with a barrage of questions, developed together with several expert associates. He fielded all calmly and with aplomb. He is clearly the "real deal". Consider him first for this specialized an very specific type of procudure.

Dr. Milla operated on me on Oct 16, 2020. He performed an annuloplasty on both my mitral and tricuspid valves. Soft-spoken, talented, and humble, this man is a surgeon's surgeon. I was blessed to have his talent at the right time and in the right place. I owe him and the staff at the Marcus Heart and Valve Center my life. Should fate put you in this man's hands, God had a hand in the decision.

Dr. Milla saved my life with his God-given skills after I was Life-flighted to Piedmont Heart Institute following a massive aortic dissection. The OR was where I first met Dr. Milla and after 11 hours of surgery (including 40 minutes of my heart being stopped on during the surgery while packed in ice the entire time) I went to recovery and my repair has been fine ever since. I was back swimming and playing racquetball just 6 weeks later. Everyone in his practice was wonderful and couldn't have been nicer or more caring and professional. My highest compliments and thanks!!!
