Kind and very knowledgeable
After 3 failed IUIs at a different clinic, Dr Shamma helped us conceive on our very first IVF cycle and transfer (We are due in November). He is very direct but took the time to explain to us what the next step was and so on; I must say the interaction with him was limited and for most of the process we interacted with the nurses but overall, we are more than happy with the results!

Heartless. You’re just another number. People in people out. Doctor and especially nurses, do not care about your emotions or your mental status. This ivf is hard enough but to them, you’re just a paycheck. They push you out of the office, don’t have anywhere just to walk you through things, when you have questions there are no explanation but when the nurses want something- THEY WANT IT NOW. Worst experience.

I dd not have a good experience visiting Dr. Shammas office. There was no transparency in treatment, they are into just money-making business.

Do not recommend. This is a business and you're treated like a customer that's being coached into a sale. This business forces you to cross moral boundaries that simply shouldn't be crossed. You'll get service with a smile as they present you with a 20K treatment plan and assurance "you're doing the 'right thing' because you want and deserve a family." When seeking additional counsel from office staff via phone, response is minimal. Also unacceptable to receive a bill 2 months after a visit.

If you are looking for an honest opinion don’t go there. They push IVF on everyone without any work up and recommend donor eggs to improve their outcome. I had 5 cycles there, was given mega doses of hormones (as I learned now twice to three times as high as recommended maximally in other places and was told my eggs were old. I am now pregnant after one IUI at a different place! Still regret they sucked not only all this money out of me but also that over 15 months I received so many hormones! S

Dr Shamma is good in knowing about fertility. But he is bad with followup. I delivered a baby girl, and at five months old, without having any clue that she might be sick, she passed away. The doctor's think it was a genetic issue, but they are not sure. I called to inform Dr. Shamma via his nurses (twice), but never received a call back from him. I am guessing he did not want to address the issue. I don't blame the doctor, but I think it's unprofessional to not discuss my concern with me.

Dr. Shamma is my hero. After so many failed attempts to get pregnant somewhere else I was ready to give up on having a child. Dr. Shamma promised that I'd be pregnant in a month. 30 days later I was pregnant with twins. God bless him and his wonderful staff.
