Dr. Farnaz Tabatabaian, MD

Dr. T pinpointed my rare condition after ordering labs and listening to my symptoms. She used targeted medication and I’m doing very well managing my condition and symptoms.

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Farnaz Tabatabian for urgent help with severe side effects from a medication change. To my shock, a Gastroenterologist and another fellow took the call instead. The doctor was unfamiliar with my condition and gave speculative advice. When I voiced my concerns, he suggested ending the call rather than helping me. He then consulted Dr. Tabatabian but failed to mute the call, allowing me to overhear everything. Dr. Tabatabian made mocking comments about my weight and misrepresented my medical history, showing complete disrespect and unprofessionalism. This experience left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply traumatized. My trust in this practice is completely shattered. I urge others to be cautious as I never expected such insensitive treatment from medical professionals.

Dr. Farnaz Tabatabaian currently practices at USF. She has been my allergist/asthma physician for approximately three years. She is highly competent, knowledgable, and listens to me my questions and answers them. Since I have been under Dr. Tabatabaian's medical care, I have had no bronchitis or pneumonia issues resulting from my asthma/allergies. She is very professional, personable as well as approachable. I am very lucky have Dr. Farnaz Tabatabaian as my internist.
