Dr. Farideh Farrohi, MD was my pediatrician from birth through 90's at Northridge. She has been with Northridge as long as I can remember. I have severe ADHD. People did not know what is was then. I was hospitalized for 30 days for behavior issues. I could not be still, my brain raced, I spoke fast, I was bouncing off walls, literally. Dr. Farideh Farrohi, MD seemed to know what ADHD was and how to help me. She offered me/my parents Ritalin at first as a choice. She explained what it would do and the side effects. I hated it. I took it only once and dumped the rest down the toilet. I was strongly against drugs or alcohol. Dr. Farideh Farrohi, MD respected me and my choice. I was a young teen, but she treated me with such respect and my opinions and choices. So made suggestions of getting me into activities to help me focus and wear out my energy. I choose swimming. It WORKED. I never had to take medicine and I controlled my ADHD

I raised 4 children going to Dr Farrohi. Now my grandson goes to Dr. Farrohi. She is, in my opinion, the best pediatrician ever!
