Dr Amjad has a heart of care and expressed true concern for her patients

Ever time of my appointments the experience was great.

The doctor seemed a bit rushed as she was behind schedule, but took the time to listen to my questions and concerns.

Great visit

This Dr. is very condescending and basically ignored my questions and concerns. She diagnosed me with MS but failed to explain the disease or to give me any feedback on my prognosis. She offered no alternatives for treatment other than medication. She was more interested in getting me to participate in her clinical trials. This was a red flag for me because she barely explained my diagnosis. My follow up appointment was not any better. She prescribed more drugs and did not answer my questions. I got a second opinion from a MS Specialist who was compassionate and professional about discussing MS.

Her knowledge might be probably solid, but as a human being she has a wooden mind. She kept telling me that I was too old-68 yo-to expect treatment or advice from HRH dr Amjad and the Medical Science That is Obeying Her. She hardly and reluctantly agreed to give the refill for my medication, even if proved that it was very helpful. Obviously, she has never heard of the Hippocratic oath and its first requirement:' Do not harm.' I felt offended, depressed and in the same time angry when I left. She should stick with the research, to see what the mice and rats are reacting. She can't pass over that level. She should never interact with humans as her patients.

Great experience. Very caring and prompt

I'm really disappointed with Dr. Amjad. I haven't had a single positive interaction. At most she seems indifferent to my concerns, at worst she seems quite annoyed. When I've met with her, I feel more confidence with her students than with her. She also seems bugged when I message her. 'It is what it is' was something she told me when we learned my disease had progressed and she offered no consolation or suggestions for how to adjust treatment.Perhaps it's because my MS is more outwardly invisible than others, but either way, she's one of the most disappointing doctors I've ever encountered. I'm desperate to find another provider ASAP.

Dr. Amjad was clearly very stressed and overworked. I feel bad for her! But it was difficult to come in to discuss such a potentially devastating diagnosis and to have her seeming rushed and dismissive.
