Made me feel horrible about myself!
I was sent here by my neurologist to confirm a diagnosis of myasthenia gravis or if not to give them a direction of what to look for. She didn’t listen to anything I said. As soon as I started to speak she would tell me “got it”. At one point when I tried to tell her something she put her hand in my face and said”WHAT”. She told me that I had none of the symptoms and it was up to me if I wanted to continue the meds that I was on. One month after stopping the meds I was in the emergency room with what was diagnosed as a myasthenia crisis per my pulmonary function test. When I contacted her and told her what had happened she told me that, “that is not how it works”. When I was at my appointment I asked her if it wasn’t myasthenia gravis what would be her thought on what it could be. She told me that I needed to contact my neurologist because she was a myasthenia gravis specialist and it was her job to say yes it is or no it’s not. It is not her job to diagnose me! Specialist?

She is an excellent Neurologist.
Dr. Sun takes the time to listen efficiently. She takes the time to review test results and makes a plan to tackle her findings. She answers questions with sincerity and empathy and offers support in the diagnosis or next step. If she is uncertain or unsure about the diagnosis concerning your health, she takes the time to confer with other colleagues to brainstorm ideas and possible diagnosis. She is wonderful!
