Awful Doctor
Maybe she has very little experience or maybe she’s had people skills. But she kept looking at her screen and I didn’t get the sense she liked doing her job as a doctor. I felt worse about my symptoms than when I walked into her office, with no trust that the medication she prescribed is the right treatment. I’ll now need to get a second opinion because I just didn’t trust that she properly took the time to diagnose whatever’s going on inside my mouth. I also had another concern about taking an the counter medicine, which she wouldn’t or couldn’t address, nor could she give alternatives about prescription medications. I don’t understand how I could walk away from this visit feeling so much worse. I felt really bad that she barely looked at me, almost as if she didn’t like me. Though I know that’s just me being insecure and her manner or lack thereof has nothing to do with me. She just has this odd compulsion to read every single thing written on screens in front of her and makes notes.

Disgruntled Patient – Jan 27, 2023

I went here as a last minute visit and was pleasantly surprised that this doctor was polite and helpful, as I'm feeling much better now. Computers are just a part of life nowadays, so I understand that she had to look at the screen sometimes and ask a bunch of questions on the first visit to fill out all the 'check boxes'. Usually a nurse or medical assistant does it instead of the doctor, so that was new for me, but it was fine. Check in/check out were fast and the office itself was nice, too.

Dr. Crumpler was impersonable - I felt like she could care less about me. She didn't say hi or bye to me. She did not ask me the reason for me coming in, and did not proactively ask about the pain I was in. She immediately talked about as a new patient how I would have to go through all sorts of tests, which as someone who hates doctors scared me right out. I won't be coming back.
