I chose Key-Whitman as my second surgery opinion after a visit to another large clinic. The other clinic seemed to be in the "sell-eye-surgery" business while Key-Whitman is about eye care. They have a measured evaluation process, no rush to surgery. They gave me time to consider options and my own life style to determine what was best for me. No pressure as in the other clinic. After choosing cataract surgery, I found Key-Whitman pre-op and post-op documentation to be helpful, easy to understand and follow. With cataract surgery there is always eye-drop medication therapy. Even though Key-Whitman eye drop protocol is more extensive than the other clinic's, I found it based on optimum eye care not expedience. Their staff was helpful and supportive every step of the way. I found Dr. Haq to be friendly and courteous. He answered my technical questions about cataract choices. In cataract surgery, you can make some bad permanent choices. Dr. Haq guided me through those choices.

The before and after care was superb! I could not be any happier with Dr. Haq's surgical skills. I am very excited with the results of both eyes. It is as if he switched on the light in both eyes. Everything is lighter, brighter and more colorful.

My experience at the surgical center was excellent from the moment I arrived until I was released. Everyone was professional and treated me kindly. When I first met Dr. Haq, he explained my options and addressed my concerns. I felt confident when I left the office that he would take good care of me. Therefore, on the day of my surgery, although nervous, I felt the outcome would be fine. I experienced no pain and it was over quickly. I appreciate Dr. Haq and his team for helping me.

Dr. Haq is at the top of my list of all eye doctors I’ve ever seen!! My experience with Key Whitman Eye Center and Key Whitman Surgery Center was exceptional! I’ve not been to a medical facility where staff loved their work as much as both teams do!!! The staff in both locations were very friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I never had to wait for my appointment, and everything was explained so thoroughly and forthright. Plus I have never had extensive testing like this before!!! I highly recommend Key Whitman for all your eye care needs. I believe you will have as great an experience as I did!!!

I had preop and postop appointments at Plano and Surgery in Dallas. In both places, everything moved a steady pace, helped along the way with all the friendly and helpful staff people. Dr. Haq removed and replaced my lens that had a cararact. Within 2 days, I could see better in that eye without glasses, than I could in the eye that is waiting for surgery with glasses. I look forward to getting the other one done. Thanks to Dr. Haq and staff for giving me great vision again.
