He's an amazing heart surgeon and made us feel like everything was going to be okay. The follow up ofc appt is going to blow your mind. This same brilliant surgeon who was like a mountain of stone is a totally different person.Its just him and one very sweet lady at the front desk. It ran like a well oiled machine and there were ALOT of people waiting. But everyone in the waiting room was all smiles, nobody feeling neglected, impatient, or hurried and since it was our 1st time, we wondered WHY? Then we found out why.Coolest thing ever, Dr. Wanna comes out to get you personally and leads you to a different smaller seating area with chairs for maybe 8 if I recall. He showed us a seat and calls the name of the next patient in line.We had all been in the first waiting room and it was perky. But this was like a chance to catch up with ole friends. That was a classy touch. We all sat for a few, chatted till called. When we went back, it was like talking to your best buddy and friend

Dr. Wanna is a very rude Dr. and is very lacking in bedside manner. He needs to learn to be compassionate and caring for his patients, and their families. I will go out of my way to make certain anyone I know never uses him!!! When the hospital staff has to apologize for him, and admits they have to go behind him and apologize to familes, you know there is a problem.

I heard people say that he is not "great" with bedside manner. I think they are mistaken. He tells you in a straightforward manner EXACTLY what to expect and exactly what you need to know. I trusted him with my life and would highly recommend this amazing surgeon.

Dr. Wanna is an excellent Dr. He was the head Dr on the team of Dr's I had while in hospital for 6 months at MCCG in Macon, GA. I would recommend him %100 to anyone. Great bedside manner and very easy to talk to.
