The staff in the Belleville, NJ office (with the exception of Nicole) is horrendous. unprofessional, incompetent, rude, and abrupt. I asked to speak with the office manager, and they were not in the office. I had an appointment to meet with Dr. Chaaban and I was told he was behind on appointments and had to meet with the assistant instead. I left...

Great Doctor, Lousy Office
I like Dr. Chaaban, but his office is a mess. Paperwork is a mess. They lose paperwork faxed to them and they always forget to send paperwork needed elsewhere. They once sent the wrong medical files to another facility where I was going for tests. They outsource their billing to RWJ Barnabas which has lost, misapplied, and double-billed. I have been trying to clear up billing issues for four months but every contact with them makes the problem worse.

I have never had a doctor with an office staff as unorganized and incompetent as this office staff. My uncle has been waiting for his heart medication to be filled for almost two weeks. We have called multiple times for the medication to be filled, always being assured by the office staff that it would be done, but never did. The pharmacy called 4 times and again were given the same response. How sad, that the staff could receive multiple attempts to help a man on his 70’s fill his prescription, and also have the pharmacy make multiple attempts, and still ignore it all. SHAME on you. He has gone 4 days without medication, and two days thankfully the pharmacy were kind enough to give two says courtesy dosages. SHAME on you. I would not recommend this office to anyone who truly cares about the well being of their loved ones.

I find Dr. Chaaban very professional and quite accurate. He doesn't just see the obvious, but catches side issues as well. I have referred relatives to him, but they chose to go to a physician who was closer to their home.

I cannot put to words how outraged I am with this doctor and how he treated a family member of mine who is going through an extremely difficult time with serious health issues. Instead of being supportive and encouraging, he was rude and short. Maybe find another career path if this ishow you want to treat your patients. A patient shouldn’t leave your office so upset and discouraged by how cold hearted you are when they have bigger battles to fight.
