Awful Experience
I’ve finally came to the realization Dr. Evita James is not someone to come to with your health concerns. She will make you feel extremely uncomfortable when expressing your concerns and make you feel ignorant. Sadly, this is not a genuine doctor. I will be looking for another Ob/gyn that can actually find solutions to my health problems instead of trying to cover the problems with a bandage and brushing me off. God bless you Dr. James!

One of the worst doctor experiences I've had. She had a nice friendly disposition, but barely examined me for my annual check up and completely blew me off after for months and months of me calling the office and trying to get in contact for a test referral. I explained some hormonal issues I'd been having and she asked if I have low hormones, to which I said how would I know? She brushed it off and didn't suggest testing to find out. After the appointment I discovered that I need hormone testing. I called persistently every week for months asking for a referral to get the test, each time was told that a note would be left for Dr. James and that a lot of people call with requests, I'm not the only one in need. After dozens and dozens of calls with no luck, I never got any answer, any conversation with a doctor, nor the referral I needed. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Tried to force me into having a c-section. When refused she refused to treat and left me at ER until her associates came to check on me. She refused to give me any medications and said I will probably in pain for 48hr but won’t do anything about it because I refused c-section. I’ve had 6 kids prior this and all of them was natural. In other words this doctor is rude and doesn’t treat her patients right.

I will be File a Complaint with the Maryland State board TODAY! This women was utterly disrespectful and rude. My sister made an appointment to see a Dr. to discuss her medical conditions. Post pardom depression, High blood pressure and her headaches. As soon as Dr. Evita James walked into the room she had a nasty disposition. Instead of allowing my sister to tell her all of her symptoms and to get an understanding of her concerns the Dr. Continued to over speak to her. Depression is a serious matter. Who on this earth will tell someone I can send you to the hospital or I can give you depression medication which will it be? When someone is suffering? Her bedside manor is deplorable. She lacks compassion or even one once of professionalisum. Her own staff warned us when we made the appointment as Dr. Evita was not her regular doctor to not see this women THAT is how horrible she is. YET, I told my sister don't worry about her attitude let's go get help. WELL I WAS WRONG to think this Dr

I saw her associates during my pregnancy who were both wonderful. Day of delivery was my first time seeing Dr. James. She was cold and looked bothered. The nurses at Holy Cross were helping me and she just sat back in the chair with her arms crossed while I pushed. The nurses instructed me what to do and she was making remarks about c-section but my baby came natural. The birth was more traumatic then it had to be. My 2nd baby was delivered beautifully with another Dr who I am sticking with.

Her 2 (male) associates were the ones taking care of me before I went into the hospital, I think one of them is Indian and the tall guy is Hispanic. Both of them are great doctors. Dr. James was the one seeing me at the hospital, trying to get me to have a c-section, then trying to talk me out of it once I decided on. She did a great job on me. I couldn't be more happy about the incision and the healing as hard as it is. Unfortunately she didn't come and check on me afterwards.

Very irresponsible and they don't listen to your concerns. I was pregnant a and told dr James I was having some pelvic issues and she just said "don't have sex" and she didn't even bother to check what was the issue which led to preterm labor . The staff is horrible, when you call them with a concern to speak to the doctor , they take your number down and never get a call back. Would never recommend this place to anyone

I wish I hadn't chose this dr so late in my pregnancy, otherwise I would have changed providers. I do not trust her judgement, she is quite rude and her office near Holy Cross looks like a run down clinic instead of an office.

The Dr is very good and helpful, very quick too. I saw an Indian Dr I don't nknow if that's Dr. Evita. The receptionist and everyone else take their sweet time in the office though. If a patient has an appointment at 8:00 am open the clinic at 7:55 so you can work on the paper work first. They made me wait more then 30 minutes to see the gyno.. Not happy to pay $75 just for an office visit and then wait more than 30 mins..
