Dr. Moshkovich's communication skills were abominable during a visit that lasted under 4 minutes.I had a sore throat after close contact with a colleague who had strep. My rapid strep test came back negative, and Dr. Moshkovich told me I'd hear back from him in 2-3 days. There was no further discussion.A few months earlier, I experienced the same symptoms, and another doctor at the same clinic gave me a delayed prescription for antibiotics while waiting for throat culture results. This was helpful because the throat culture did come back positive for strep, and I was able to start taking antibiotics immediately.When I asked Dr. Moshkovich if that option was available, he cut me off, repeatedly said it wasn’t something people did, accused me of asking for unnecessary medication, and was extremely condescending. He refused to provide a meaningful explanation and walked out of the room while I was still speaking.
