Dr Lindenthaler was literally the best anesthesiologist I've ever met. I had zero pan during my 2 hour ankle surgery. I only wanted some nausea medication and a nerve block. I didn't want general anesthesia or any sort of medication to cloud my mind, such as pain meds or anxiety meds and she respected that. Everyone is scared a bit during surgery and she gave me the minimal amount of nerve block, then just talked to me for the entire time I was in surgery. That's how she alleviated my fear- by being a comforting person to talk to. We talked about where she grew up, where she went to college, my family, etc. Time flew by and surgery was over before I knew it- all without a bunch of meds that would make my mind blurry. Some people would just want to be "knocked out or asleep" the whole time, but that's just not me and I'm so glad my anesthesiologist respected that. I am so grateful for her. She also spent a lot of time with me in pre op, which made me feel a lot better about everything.

My anesthesiologist was Dr. Evelyn Lindenthaler. If you are able to request an anesthesiologist, you need to get her. She was beyond perfect. I had a surgery and she talked to me before the surgery to discuss anesthesia options. She's listed to me, kept me comfortable during the entire procedure, and was so kind to me.

Dr. Lindenthaler was the anesthesiologist for my total knee replacement on 3/9/20. She was kind and professional and went above and beyond to ease my anxiety. I highly recommend her and the Seattle Surgery Center.
