Early 2024, Dr Fernandez was my surgeon for a triple bypass, but he opted to do a quadruple. I really liked him, and he did a great job! His office staff was wonderful too. I highly recommend him. That said folks, I don’t want anyone to have this surgery! (Sorry doc!) Please get your heart checked out and tell your friends and family to also.

Dr Fernandez's Office Gainesville
First, let me say that Dr Fernandez saved my husband's life. He, Austin (PA), and others we saw at NFMC were awesome. The issue comes in when you have a problem after discharge. Two female PAs in his office are the most unhelpful, condescending pair I have ever encountered. They minimized my husband's suffering which was directly impacting his recovery from CABG (open heart) I have never felt so unheard and alone. If you want empathy or care after the surgeon and his team are finished, this isn't it.

Excellent thoracic surgeon
Dr. Fernandez performed my triple bypass surgery (CABG) in September 2021. I had never had any surgeries or procedures in my life and his caring and compassionate bedside manner alleviated my anxiety over this unexpected surgery. Dr. Fernandez Sada is highly skilled, professional, and had excellent follow-up. He and his staff provided wonderful pre- and post-surgery care, were thorough in explaining what would take place during and after surgery, and answered my myriad of questions. I highly recommend Dr. Fernandez Sada!
