Dr. Evan Hirsch, MD

Seven months ago I didn't know what to try next to help with my severe chronic fatigue. I found Dr. Hirsch serendipitously while doing a search on youtube for another doctor that I saw on a health summit. As I listened to his approach, I liked what I heard. I joined his program, FixYourFatigue (later EnergyMD), and went to work. This has been quite a journey, and by following his recommendations, my energy levels have greatly improved. Dr. Hirsch is the real deal. He knows what to do, meets you where you are, and is willing to give his all to help you get better. I am grateful that Dr. Hirsch has made this program available for those who suffer with fatigue, and I am very happy that I chose it.

I spent 5 years as a patient of Dr. Evan. I learned a lot about my bodily functions and lifestyle habits affecting my health and well being. Dr Evan knows functional medicine inside and out and has to ability to communicate its benefits to his patients. He will get to the root cause of your illness and certainly did for me. His healing modalities and protocols are top of the line in the functional medicine world. Dr. Evan is not only a great doctor he is also a great teacher. I experienced improvements in sleep, focus, energy, nutritional awareness, exercise and overall well being. I now have the knowledge and information I need to keep improving my health as I continue my life's journey.

My experience with Dr Hirsch was great. I bought the program fix your fatigue and found it was worth the money. Dr Evan Hirsch and his team are very reactive. It helped me to take my energy to another level by looking at all causes. I discovered I had a low thyroid, gut dysfunction and a mercury intoxication. The program was key to my recovery, along with a few other strategies, I'm back to more than 80% and on my way to 100%, my health and energy getting better each month. I'm back in the gym, working full times, and enjoying a fullfilling social life.

I have been in Dr. Hirsch’s program for a little over a year now. After being sick for 20 years and seeing every practioner from conventional medicine to alternative methods, I am finally having success in health. I thought I would never be able to be active or work again as well as be the wife and mother that I used to be. My brain was so foggy, my emotions were all over the place and I had no energy. This winter I took up skiing again! This program is amazing. I can see the entire program from start to finish so I know what’s next and it’s self-paced. I have saved so much time with this online program. I used to spend hours each day driving to appointments. Now I ask a question to Dr Evan and his team anytime via the online community forum or get on a zoom call twice a month with Dr. Hirsch. He is very responsive and extremely supportive. The healing process takes a lot of effort but I feel so supported whether it’s from Dr. Hirsch, his team, or others in the program.

The one star review below compels me to add my 1 year long experience with Dr. Hirsch because I’m thankful for his expert guidance with my detox. My decade long fatigue is much less. His group program is a self-directed unique online service. I value that he is addressing a variety of fatigue causes and giving necessary information for rebalancing each. Caring and knowledgeable, he has put together a clear and detailed workbook for guidance and understanding. Establishing his group program makes his work more affordable than "1 on 1 sessions" only. He gives generously of his time to every person during the “group Q&A sessions”. I learn from explanations and suggestions to my own and others’ questions. The online group post is another constant opportunity for answers to any arising questions. I can't see the big monetary profit. I value the opportunity to learn and self-pace. I know when I’m ready to take the next step. Healing is self-healing, different for each of us.

Dr Hirsch is an amazing doctor (and person). He is a wealth of knowledge (I have learned so much for him!), a great attitude, and a big heart. He is an expert in the holistic/functional medicine model as well as the conventional way which makes working with him all-inclusive (think get better sooner). He teaches the connection between the body and the mind which we now know is so important to healing. I recommend Dr Hirsch to anyone who has a complex chronic illness/fatigue. His toolbox is huge with his knowledge, cutting-edge testing and professional supplements that actually work. Dr Hirsch is a rare find.

Dr. Hirsch is ONE OF A KIND! In 65 years of interfacing with medical doctors not only have I never before met a physician who is so skilled in both Western medicine and complementary medicine but one who also portrays a depth of compassion and kindness for those he supports on their journey to health. Dr Hirsch treats those of us who seek his services with respect, support, curiosity, and deep listening (a rare skill). I am impressed with the depth of his knowledge of many aspects of medicine and his ability to bring his expertise to the table along with respect for the innate wisdom of the body of his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Hirsch to anyone who seeks to heal.

I finally found Dr Hirsch after years of being sick and unable to get a diagnosis from anyone else. After going through his program I’m treating the reasons I have been so sick. My life is changed drastically and I continue to participate in his group sessions. He is very available & supportive to his patients.

Dr. Hirsch of EnergyMD (Formerly known as Fix Your Fatigue) offers a very rational approach to improving your energy levels. I am a participant in his online program. Not only have my energy and stamina levels improved but I have had a major improvement in mood. Dr. Evan helps you determine your causes of fatigue and then offers step by step instructions to address those causes. I cannot recommend him enough! I participated in Dr. Hirsch's Fix Your Fatigue program and was consistently impressed with his kind and caring nature and the depth of his knowledge about the causes and treatments for chronic illness. His whole team was great, no question left unanswered. Dr. Hirsch is always looking for ways to deliver more value to program participants. He answers his own email too, rather than passing it off on assistants. Healing from chronic illness is a marathon, not a sprint, and it's too bad some folks on here expected otherwise. I'd recommend Dr. Hirsch for any program he's involved with.

I’m having a lot of success with Dr Hirsch’s program. His membership program really works for me. He and his team are available via an online portal and I always get my questions answered either there or in his many scheduled member calls. His bedside manner is lovely and his team is top notch. I feel really supported in my health journey and my blood tests show that I am doing better. Best of all, I feel better!

Don't purchase his Fix Your Fatigue Program for several thousands of dollars unless you have several thousands more to dedicate to supplements and lab testings. You can find local Functional Medicine Doctors that can work with you personally instead of throwing your money to the wind and not getting anything back in return. What a joke and money down the drain.

I have known Dr.Hirsch for many years as his patient and know him to be a dedicated and skilled physician. My medical history and condition is complex and at times utterly disheartening. After several aggressive and negative experiences in other practices and medical settings, I was hesitant to seek help, then I found Dr. Hirsch. He was what I needed. He listened, was respectful, honored my knowledge of my own health and experiences. He was gentle and supportive. He believed me about my symptoms and the effect they had on my life. He respected which therapies were a good match for me that I wanted to try and over the intervening years has been an essential support, always bringing new information and resources to our efforts. With his support and encouragement, we have found several effective therapies that have made improvements is my health, energy and quality of life. I would wholeheartedly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Evan Hirsch, MD for many years. His preventative approach to healthcare is where my mentality is. I had that mentality before I came to Dr. Hirsch. I don't want a doctor who just treats symptoms. I want to know why I have the symptom, where it came from and to get rid of it. When my husband heard about Dr. Hirsch, I began to see him. I finally felt a doctor got it. He listens! Dr. Hirsch uses data from regular blood draws to find out what is happening inside of me, when I might not be feeling any symptoms at all. The blood work brings a protocol focus that is specific to me. When Dr. Hirsch changed his practice format, he recommended that we use our insurance company to find a Preferred Provider to deal with urgent needs that come up, such as at an Immediate Care Clinic. We did. However, Dr. Hirsch is our main doctor and we continue having appointments. The Patient Portal allows us to connect with Dr. Hirsch, at any time. I cannot recommend him enough!

My energy was low, I felt lethargic even after 12 or hours of sleeping. I had seen several doctors to try and help me resolve my health issue with no success. A friend suggested I watch one of Dr. Hirsch’s Youtube video. I instantly felt some relief, here is a doctor who fully understands the nature of my problem. For one year, we worked together. Dr. Hirsch was able to get to the root cause of my problem. He has addressed my concern including the fatigue, hair loss, depression and poor sleep. Today, my symptom are alleviated and I am able to work. I feel optimistic and now have a more positive outlook. It was the best decision I made to see Dr. Hirsch!

I have been a complex case for sure - Lyme - epstein Barr and a host of piggy backing bugs to complicate it more. Chronic fatigue would have been an improvement. I don't really what else to say. I was nearly bed ridden and would no doubt be dead today without his help. Dr Evan is a blessing in my life! I am so much healthier and happier than I had been in many, many years.

Dr Hirsch has a wealth of knowledge, a good attitude, and a great heart. He really sees healing through a holistic lens. I appreciate how he understands the connection between the body, mind, emotions, and an individuals unique life purpose in regards to optimal health. Before finding Dr Hirsch, I had no answers to what was going on with me. As a long time patient of his, I can proudly say that Dr Hirsch has been a huge part of my healing recovery. I have gone from being sick and in bed to living a life aligned with my highest calling. Because of my low income status he has been tremendously generous in regards to financial support, allowing me to receive top quality care at an affordable price. I recommend Dr Hirsch to anyone who has a complex chronic illness/fatigue situation that needs a doctor who can come at a situation from many different angles and get to the core of what is going on.

I used to see a wonderful PA in Dr. Hirsch's office, however, I had to change providers when the office kept changing their billing structure. I couldn't keep up with the expensive "membership" fees, and as I told Dr. Hirsch, it appeared they only wanted to treat the rich and elite of Olympia.

I was his patient 2yrs ago and initially impressed by Hirsch patter before I saw through to the money grubbing. His clinic in Olympia was unsuccessful and quietly closed, now he uses a Seattle addy which is a UPS store. The shtick is to sell himself as having unique knowledge and approach, which is why you need him and should pay him $$$$ out of pocket to “fix your fatigue.” There are lots of other functional med providers with similar protocols. Cannot recommend Dr. Hirch in any capacity.

I get the feeling this clinics only concern is the size of my bank account.
