I had a fall on a Tuesday morning. I saw Dr. Dougherty Thursday and had outpatient surgery the following Monday at Salt Creek Surgery Center. I had a broken fibula near my ankle and thankfully was in a boot instead of a cast. Dr. Dougherty, his team and the surgery center were all very professional and I give the highest marks possible.

My husband fell and broke his hip, at the emergency room they told us they had a surgeon who would do the surgery. I was concerned I didn’t have any information on the doctor. The ER doctor and nurse told me he was the best, and it was who they would pick to do their surgery. That was all so correct! Definitely the best surgeon, and person!

After our initial consultation with another Doctor, we were positive Dr. Dougherty was our surgeon for our son’s broken elbow. His confidence in fixing the broken elbow and direct answers were exactly what we expected in a surgeon . Dr. Dougherty and his staff delivered 100% on their promises. I would highly recommend using Dr. Dougherty for your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Dougherty is not only exceptional on his surgery skills, but his bed side manners were off the charts. I sat in the hospital over a holiday weekend until I was able to meet Dr. Dougherty and he let me know how he was going to perform the surgery and explained to my family as well before I went in to the operating room. The recoup time as well as any pain was a minimal. Here I am at 10 weeks, done with therapy, and completely healed. No only is my incision seamless and can't be seen, he spent time with me review any questions I had as if I was his only patient. His staff is comforting and very pleasant. What a great office. I would definitely say he is my #1 Doctor; I can't say enough to people about him. Thank 'God' I was fortunate enough to get him.

We saw Dr. Dougherty for our 9 yo old daughter’s broken clavicle and we’re very happy we were able to get him as her doctor for this incident. From his mannerisms to his thorough explanation of the bone growth and recovery at each and every appointment was outstanding. She’s healed nicely and we’ll be sure to see him in the future for any other breaks that come about for all of our children.

Both the PA and Dr. Dougherty explained everything very well and answered all my questions. His office assistant, Sheila was amazing with an insurance claim that was being rejected. I am very thankful for all this office has done. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

After a bad spiral leg fracture, Dr Dougherty surgically put my leg back together, explained everything clearly beforehand and along the way so that I understood the process and timeline, answered all of my questions, and the healing has been a steady progression ever since the initial surgery. It hasn’t been easy, but I felt confident I was in good hands. Great to be able to walk again with confidence. I would recommend Dr Dougherty highly to anyone.

Dr. Doughtery performed surgery for a broken humerus (arm) bone. He is an exceptional surgeon. He is friendly, caring, and treated me with respect. Before surgery he was very thorough explaining the procedure. The surgery went extremely well. At the follow up visits, he took time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Dr. Dougherty removed a screw from a previous injury which was affecting my ankle joint. Removal of the screw brought immediate relief to my ankle. I was having a lot of pain daily and now I am free of pain. Dr. Dougherty is an excellent surgeon, takes time to explain things at an understandable level and listens to you.

Was in a lot of pain until pinning and casting. Once done. No more pain! Dr Dougherty and his entire team were always encouraging and supportive.

She required surgery, which is always stressful, but he made us feel so at ease with the entire process and the surgery went seamlessly.
