Dr. Evan Conte, MD

I went to Dr Conte because my cousin told me about him and I heard great things about him.So I made and appointment and the rest was history. I had a shoulder replacement and I must say he's the best for sure .Am 6 weeks postpo and my shoulder is great no pain at all .I would tell everyone if they need a good Shoulder Dr.go to Dr.Conte.

I have had a positive experience with Dr. Conte as we diagnosed issues with my shoulder. He discussed the options for treatment, including some not covered by insurance, and clearly answered all my questions on those options. He also respects my active lifestyle and desire to not allow this shoulder issue to stop me from my activities. My initial fear in seeing an orthopedic surgeon is that he would want to go right to surgery. Dr. Conte appreciates that I see surgery as the last option and has offered multiple approaches to restore my shoulder. The staff supporting him is pleasant, efficient, and very responsive when I needed help with things like MRI appointments and insurance. I'm not back together yet, but thus far, would recommend Dr. Conte for shoulder issues.

Dr. Conte very recently performed a reverse shoulder replacement. I am 78, active, and concerned that recovery would be a long drawn-out process. Dr. Conte explains clearly what will take place and the recovery process. I am in my second week out of surgery with very little pain and decent mobility. I would highly recommend Dr. Conte and his team. Dr. Conte listens to his patient's concerns and addresses the issues in an understandable manner. I have told my other physicians if they have patients needing this type of surgery, Dr. Conte is their man.

Dr. Conte was one of the most arrogant and cocky doctors I have ever met. His interaction with me were less than cursory, taking little interest in what I had to say, and seemed that he had not reviewed my chart. Additionally, he did not listen to what I had to say advising me that the pain I was having was in another area of my knee. When I corrected him, he indicated that was surprising and shrugged it off. Rather than describing treatment options he merely listed. When I asked about advantages/disadvantages and which he most likely would recommend, he responded, “You came to us, it’s your choice.” I initially apologized for questioning him, he responded “Well, what’s it going to be?” He was not pleased when I retracted my apology and demanded he explain all options which he reluctantly did. Throughout the remainder of the appointment he was impatient and inconvenienced. On the positive side, the PA I initially saw a month before and staff were pleasant and professional.

Dr. Conte is excellent. He worked with me to thoroughly assess my pain/injury, communicate options, and ultimately execute a surgical repair. His post-operative pain management protocol worked much better than the internet led one to expect. It's been six weeks and I am well on my way to recovery. Dr. Conte, his team (Kristen, Tallulah, Linnsie) and my Rothman PT Matt have and continue to deliver patient care that exceeds my expectations!I am grateful!-Bill

Dr Conte completely explained whole procedure and word for word i knew what to expect and his explanation was spot on.He is truly the best of the best. Also his staff is equally knowledgeable and compliment the service.

Dr. Conte was great. He was thorough, and answered all my questions. He also asked me several questions to help determine appropriate treatment options. I left the office feeling confident that I'll make a 100% recovery after PT.

Dr. Conte did a terrific job with my rotator cuff/bicep repair. Accurate diagnosis, smooth surgery (less painful than anticipated) and nearly full recovery within 4 1/2 months. I would highly recommend Dr. Conte.

I had MACI surgery on my right knee in 2021 with Dr. Conte and did follow up with him and his team for nearly a year. They are outstanding! I have recommended Dr. Conte to coworkers and others. The surgery is difficult and the recovery is long, but they were there for me the whole way. I never felt rushed in the office--could ask as many questions as I wanted, felt listened to. I could call on the phone as needed. I really felt as though the team sincerely cared about my health and progress. The work is hard, but they will help you get there. I'm running with my kids without pain for the first time in many years!

I went to Dr. Conte for a second opinion on my shoulder. He agreed I need a replacement. Dr. Conte was not rushed and gave thorough explanations to my questions. He also took the time to go over his qualifications and was happy to answer all my questions. I am confident I made the right choice in proceeding with Dr. Conte as my surgeon.

Dr. Conte and his staff are professional and courteous. I had lots of questions about my recent shoulder surgery, and they were always answered promptly. The surgery went well, and Dr Conte called me early the next day to check on my condition. I would recommend Dr. Conte and Rothman to anybody with orthopedic issues.

He is a very patient and put you at ease. I like him alot he does not rush and he listen to everything you have to say and his evaluation is very good

Dr. Conte is fantastic. He has been fantastic in treating both of my children's sports injuries. He is patient and kind! We love him!
