Very dissapointed
Dr Yoon was callous and treated me like an ICD9 code. Didn't bother to check further into my disease. I tried to explain I was concerned and losing weight but he laughed and said "I think you look great"! This man is clueless. Thank God I found a female GI that checked further and was able to control my U.C. I have no faith in this man and I am a healthcare worker.

I would easily give 100 stars if I could! Where do I even start? I could say so many great things about Dr. Yoon. My family and I trust him with our lives. Dr. Yoon diagnosed me with UC and 19 and I am now 22 years old. He has always made me feel heard, never rushed me nor my family then we ask him a million questions and is always determined to make me feel better. I can always count on him to get back to me right away when I have any questions. He is incredibly invested in his patients, he is kind, and incredibly knowledgable. I would recommend him to everyone, he is simply the best!

Went to Dr. Yoon on several occasions complaining of stomach problems and because I was already diagnosed with IBS he didn’t do any further tests instead he just said it was my IBS and gave me medication for that. Turns out if he would have done further research he would have found it was my gallbladder. And I had to have emergency surgery. Needless to say I am no longer his patient.

Dr. Yoon, took the time to go over all possible options for my condition. He was very detailed in explaining the anatomy of the GI area. I have felt very comfortable having him as my GI doctor. I will defiantly continue seeing him, as my GI doctor.

Dr. Yoon treated my husband with a difficult medical situation. Not only did he do everything possible in an effort to treat my husband without surgery, but he went out of his way to explain his condition and the complexity to me, including drawing me a diagram. He kept me well informed throughout the process. I cannot recommend him highly enough and am very thankful that he was the gastroenterologist treating my husband.

I have seen Dr. Yoon for long time, my experience wasn't good! He doesn't seems to care about his patient. I have been in pain for long time, and have to insist to have a test done. After the test he has his nurse call me to tell me he didn't find anything and refer me to another doctor. Once the test is done by second doctor they call to tell me they found a small problem, but no suggestion what to do or no medication! He didn't even give me the opportunity to meet with him to go over it!

Dr. Yoon is very patient and takes time to explain conditions, causes and steps of actions with patients. Excellent bedside manner. Great communication skills with patients go a long way and he knows what he's doing and what he's talking about. I'm very confident being under his medical care.

I recently was referred to Dr. Yoon after my third attack of acute pancreatitis. This condition has been tough for any doctor in the past to find out why I kept getting this over a fifteen year timeframe. After being in the hospital over one week, Dr. Yoon recommended an endoscopic ultrasound. This was following several ct scans by another doctor which showed idiopathic results. Dr. Yoon really took the time and listened and found sludge in my gallbladder which I will have removed. Very good doc
