Gave me knee flexibility
Dr Yim is a calm and caring person. He injects my knee with a substance that cushions the joint . After 3 weeks , my knee is pain free. The injection can be repeated as needed. I’ve been seeing him for knee pain for 5 years. The staff is friendly. The office is clean inviting.

Dr. Yim has wonderful bedside manner and really takes time to listen. I was worried that I would have to have surgery, but he was able to help me recover without any surgery. He is the absolute best.

I have seen Dr. Yim multiple occasions now for sports related injuries and every time I am happy with his care. He is an expert in his field and knowledgeable. He even called me once while was out of country to explain and MRI to me and come up with a plan. He is caring and goes out of his way to help patients.

Dr. Yim now works in the extremities dept at Newport Orthopedic. He has been treating my long ago torn rotator cuff. I thought he was a specialist. To find out he is "an emergency room physician" explains why when I went in to have my MRI read he basically had very little to say about shoulders. Did not want to answer questions and just referred me to surgical doctor when it is evident no surgery will correct my problem. Not a communicator. Did not leave feeling very positive about him.

I was really impressed with Dr. Yim and the Newport Orthopedic Institute office in Huntington Beach! Staff was very efficient as well as kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Yim was more than excellent! So grateful for him and this great organization!
