Dr. Eugene Gabianelli, MD

I had cataract surgery and there was a mistake during the procedure, which was corrected but the attitude of the doctor was utter disinterest. Follow up with two different optometrists' was equally uncomfortable. Both doctors were indifferent to me while attempting to get me out of the chair as fast as possible, while both technicians who did all the measurements, were even less interested. It's very curious that Dr. Gabianelli hires these types of personalities to represent his practice. The bottom line for me is: would I bring my mom to this doctor? Never. I would be very concerned about the behavior of the principal doctors. Was the surgery successful? Completely, 100% Perfect, but the experience was so uncomfortable it wasn't really worth it. The best people in Dr. Gabianelli's practice are the administrative staff, who are helpful, kind, funny and really nice. Maybe the other reviewers saw him on a good day. Not me.

Efficient and professional staff both for the consultation and surgery; everything was explained in great detail

I have been going to Dr. Gabianelli for many years now. He is Knowledgeable, Professional, and explains everything well. His staff is amazing and have been with him for a very long time which tells a lot. I just had cataract surgery which I was in denial of for years now. It has been such a wonderful experience…and his surgical staff is efficient and caring. My vision is great and I am grateful!

Dr. Gabianelli did a “redo” lens swap following cataract surgery with another provider which left me vision-impaired in one eye. A week later…I’m seeing much better and feel that I have a future again! I also adore his assistant, Candace, who “jumped” on my situation. I am extremely grateful and will be his patient forever!

Dr. Gabianelli did a great job on my cataract surgery. I had lost a lot of color perception over an extended period of time and also found it very difficult to drive at night. My color perception came back instantly after surgery. I couldn't believe how vivid everything was. I am also able to drive at night again without suffering from so much glare from oncoming headlights. The staff were also very helpful and professional. Overall it was an excellent experience.

TLC Laser Eye Centers is absolutely incredible. I had the procedure done yesterday, felt great yesterday, went in for my checkup today and have better than 20/20 vision! I have 20/15 vision THE NEXT DAY after my procedure and feel zero pain. I am now the 3rd person I know who used TLC for Lasik eye surgery and each and every one of us would recommend them to any and everyone. This was the single most life changing procedure I have ever done and the recovery is literally the easiest procedure I have ever gone through in my lifetime.. thanks to my amazing doctors. I had Dr Gabianelli do my procedure and Dr Jessica Reynolds is the doctor I see on all my checkups. Words cannot describe how amazing both of these people along with the rest of the staff are. I was extremely timid going into this procedure and am so blessed that I went through it with these doctors!!! 5 stars doesn’t even cut it for how amazing they are! ????????

He took a phone call during the visit, talked to the caller for 5 mins, poked around my eye for 90 seconds, told his assistant he “couldn’t see anything” even though my eye was obviously infected, stood up and said “don’t worry, we’ll get you taken care of”, he leaves. Looking back on it I think he showed laughably bad manners zero competence as a physician, but I was furious at the time.

My experience with Dr Gabianelli was wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and explained things well. ALL the staff is outstanding. The office is very efficient and detail oriented. Everyone I met was friendly and caring.

I recently had Cataract surgery at Georgia Eye partners by doctor Eugene Gabianelli and it was an outstanding experience. The staff, the scheduling, the assistants and the surgical unit were all outstanding. If an appointment was going to take several hours, the team told me ahead of time and kept me updated.

He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease. Great office staff.

He is excellent

My cataract surgery was a nightmare. During the surgery I told him I could feel him cutting my eye. His response was that he was almost done. I have not been able to see well out of that eye. I was suppose to have monovision - but since my right eye is so messed up - I have to wear a distance contact in my left eye, which was suppose to be my reading eye. I also have to wear a contact in my right eye for distance and now wear reading glasses.
