Unseen Burst appendix
'I was seen by 2 surgeons, and given a choice to wait until swelling from an infection abated, or go in sooner, which carried more risk. My colon was so swollen from an infection, they couldn’t see my sppendix in the CT scans. Dr Giakovid explained everything very thoroughly and recommended to remove my appendix after 3 days of IV antibiotics She was 100% right. By going in when she did, she saved me from pain snd suffering. If she hadn’t operated when she did, I would’ve ended up back where I started in worse condition. I am one week post op, and feeling so much better. I also don’t have to worry about an operation down the line. Dr G and her team are top notch., and I am very grateful. '

Gallbladder removal
Dr Giakovis explained the procedure throughly. Excellent beside manner, listened to my concern and answered all questions. I never felt rushed.
