This was my first meeting this physician and I was happy to meet her and introduce myself. She was very cordial but we did not waste time and she quickly asked questions about what brought me in to the office that day. I found her to be an exceptional listener. She asked good questions. I had every confidence in her. She listened to my heart and lungs a long time. Both ears were examined and she told me what she saw in each ear. I liked that because it was confirming to me a secondary infection was present. She told me that she would like to treat me for an inner ear infection since there was colored fluid behind the eardrums. And then she recommended to me the medication she would prescribe for such an infection. I liked the dialogue back and forth very much. She was concerned with my ear pain level and though my neck is sore as well, her touch is very gentle so I was not feeling any discomfort as she examined my lymph nodes. Dr. Simmons is very caring, a good listener and able to quickly determine alternative meds, when insurance decides they won't cover different meds each year. She's quick to call back/message about results or even questions to her!

Dr. Simmons spends very little time with me. She does not address concerns and does not complete a well visit with any assessments or physical exam. I do not believe she would be able to identify early symptoms of a health issue based on her lack of physical examination.
