Rude
My review is the same as all the others I’m reading. My daughter swallowed a rock and acted like we were idiots for bringing her in because “a rock wouldn’t cause any problems so he doesn’t know what he can do for us”. Did X-rays that I was never shown and ended up testing my daughter for covid and was positive. Not why we came in…

Terrible bed side manners.
Dr Hoffman has terrible bedside manners. As a provider myself I hope I never give this kind of bedside manner to my patients as this Dr did to us. My mother came in for a headache on a Sunday. Dr Hoffman basically came in and said 'headache? ER?' While shaking his head. I was absolutely disgusted on how her treated me and my mother.

Very rude and put in my visit summary something that was irrelevant to why I came in. Something that is over a year old. He was very rude when coming in to check on me and was not gentle. Asked why I came in and then asked who my surgeon was. When told who my surgeon was he was like no idea who your even talking about. Was overall just rude and horrible bed side manner. Honestly wouldn't even give him a one star but don't have any other option. Honestly don't know why he hasn't been placed out of his for how he treats his patients. No one ever wants to go to the er but especially if he's the doctor. Just down right poor experience.

Awful Dr. At an er visit. He walked out of the room while I was listing symptoms and explained what happened. He wouldn't run the tests my primary care Dr and urgent care recommended. He ran a different test on a different part of my body and *shocker* it was normal. Well of course it was normal. That wasn't the part of my body that wasn't working right and in pain!!! A great nurse tried to advocate for me but he dismisses the nurse. Brought up multiple times a previous ER visit which had nothing to do with current visit or even similar symptoms!! Was not respectful or even attentive.

Very dismissive of my concerns and talked to me like I was a waste of his time. Belittled me for crying and showed zero compassion.

Dr. Hoffman is unprofessional, impolite and generally lacking in social skills. Instead of help the person I brought in, he made them feel worse to the point where we left and went to another hospital. I would avoid going anywhere near him if you value your mental health.

Rude, smug, inconsiderate & dismissive. He made me feel like I was bothersome to his existence. He belittled one of my concerns and completely dismissed all others!

This doctor is a smug jerk. His bed-side manner is awful. He acted like I was totally putting him out by being there. And when you don't feel good that really sucks! If I ever had a serious life or death emergency I would definitely not want him to be my doctor. The nurse was great though and the facility is really nice!!

He deserves no stars. He's rude, I was treated like an inconvenience, and he only gave me 2 minutes of his time. Ended up going back to ER 8 hours after being under his care and was admitted to the hospital by another Dr.

He was dismissive, and made my daughter cry with his utter disregard for her. He seemed not to believe her. He never told us what was going on- he ordered tests and then a few hours later told us we could go. The nurse, who was wonderful, told us diagnosis and aftercare information. The worst bedside manner I've ever encountered, and a first for this hospital.
