A Literal Saint!
Dr. Hoekstra helped see me through my pregnancy after infertility! She is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, incredibly knowledgeable, and takes your questions and concerns into consideration and helps talk you through things. She held my hand as my spinal was happening before my C-Section and told me she wasn’t going anywhere until I was numb. I truly appreciated her throughout my pregnancy, but especially in that very moment. I am so lucky to have her as my OB!

The Best Around Hands Down
Dr. Hoekstra made me feel heard for the first time in 7 years! She is always listening to what I say and hearing me instead of just being there. She makes me feel like I matter! I would recommend her to anybody around!

Dr. Hoekstra was excellent throughout my time at Grand Rapids Women’s Health! I started seeing her when we moved back to Michigan and I was already 28 weeks pregnant with my third baby. She jumped right in to my care for me and baby girl, and allowed me to direct my care needs at that time. I felt very well cared for and looked after by Dr. Hoekstra and her team. If we decided to have baby number 4, I will most definitely be seeing Dr. Hoekstra again!

Knowledgeable and reassuring doctor!
Dr. Hoekstra was my OBGYN for both of my pregnancies. I never felt rushed through my appointments, or that I was a burden by asking all of my questions. She was always very good at explaining different options I had for my health care, and I never felt pressured into making a certain decision. I would 100% reccommend her, and would use her myself again if I weren't done having children.

AMAZING!
Dr. Hoekstra went above and beyond for me to ensure I had a proper delivery! She even stayed after hours to be the one to deliver my boy! 10/10 recommend! She was calm and encouraging throughout the whole process! She made the whole process smooth and helped me transition easily into my new role as a Mom!

Fantastic
Hands down the best! Supportive and friendly. She genuinely cares. I have had her for 7 years and she remembers who you are, even after we moved away for a few years. You are not just a name. I have had three babies ( one birthed under her care) and I truly wish all of my babies had been under her care.

Great Doctor!
Dr. Hoekstra is a great doctor. Started seeing her halfway through my pregnancy after moving to town and she not only listened to all of my wants and concerns for the remainder of my pregnancy and labor and delivery but talked through them with me with real consideration and care. 10 out of 10 recommend!
