Title: Terrible Experience - Avoid Dr. Erin Kunz's Podiatrist at All Costs! Read This Review Before Going Further: I feel compelled to share my extremely negative experience with Dr. Erin Kunz's Podiatrist located at 37 Research Drive, East Setauket, NY. I have never in my life, despite owning two businesses, been treated with such disregard and disrespect. Leaving a negative review is a rarity for me, as you can see from my history, but I cannot overlook the appalling treatment I received from this establishment. I called the office to inform them that I might be running 5 to 10 minutes late. The woman on the phone assured me that 15 minutes would be acceptable. However, when I asked her to confirm, she put me on an extended hold for 10 minutes without any explanation. I had to call back multiple times, only to receive no answer or even an answering service. It wasn't until the 6th or 7th attempt that she finally picked up the phone. By that point, I knew I wouldn't make it on time, so I asked if I could reschedule for Friday at their other office. Instead of addressing my request, she rudely interrupted me, saying things like "No, you wait, you wait, you wait! Listen to me!" She reprimanded me for wanting to change the appointment to Friday because she had kept me on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. The sense of entitlement displayed by the office staff is beyond belief. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior in my life. I informed her that she was fired, but she completely misunderstood and thought I was firing her personally. She had the audacity to claim that she was worth more than me. I couldn't help but laugh at her absurdity, considering my own personal circumstances. Whether she is the doctor or simply the person answering the phones, she and the entire office staff need serious training in people skills, anger management, and professionalism. To make matters worse, despite being associated with Stony Brook, this office is a disgrace. I have had positive experiences with doctors at Stony Brook Hospital, including Dr. Davaris, but this particular office is on a whole different level of rudeness and indifference. It's important to note that I contacted Stony Brook's patient advocacy yesterday regarding a serious issue with my son. I called three times and received no call back until I pleaded for one on Mother's Day. The doctor seemed inconvenienced by my concerns, which is the last thing I expected from a healthcare professional. Even when I call my doctor's office at 500 Commack Road, I encounter a different call center-like response before 5:00 pm, but the individuals behind the desk are the rudest people I have ever dealt with. Their constant display of disgust and lack of empathy is mind-boggling. I am left in a state of shock and disbelief. I genuinely cannot stress this enough: Stay away from this place. Do not subject yourself to the treatment I endured. The staff will make you feel like a criminal, demean you, and demonstrate that their ego is definitely not their amigo. They have no business answering phone calls or interacting with the public. This level of horrid service is absolutely disgusting. I sincerely hope my review helps others avoid such a distressing experience.

Dr. Kunz is wonderful surgeon that I had while in Stony Brook hospital. She operated on my toe and was trul a kind and caring doctor. I would recommend her to anyone that needed special care.
