Best PCP I have EVER had. I do not say this lightly as I’ve spent 10 years finding someone in the state of hawaii that could treat my severe premenstrual dysphoric disorder and my over all health.I started with telehealth and knew immediately that Dr Hunt was different in such a refreshing way. The first time I had an in person appointment we were so excited we hugged eachother- this is the type of care we all deserve.She is very responsive and is now the pcp for my entire family and we have never been taken care of by a doctor this well before.She is a safe supportive space for lgbtq patients and plus size patients.She very genuinely cares for her patients. She sets aside as much time as you need and does not rush you. She lets me cry it out if I need to and celebrates every little health victory I have- I’ve never felt so loved and safe with a doctor before.She is what medicine is SUPPOSED to be. I hope we start to see moreDoctors like her.

My partner and I highly recommend Dr. Erin Hunt and Healing Tides Primary Care. Dr. Hunt is incredibly responsive, thorough, professional and punctual. The direct interactions from the minute you call to make an appointment to walking out of the office after a visit is something you don't get anywhere else. The thoughtful questionnaire you receive as a new patient is the beginning of a positive partnership when it comes to your health. You can tell Dr. Hunt considers the whole person and wants to play an active role alongside you. This kind of comprehensive care as a patient helps you feel well-cared and valued. Great bedside manner. She listens and explains everything so you can understand it

is always available, responsive, and compassionate. When I first called her for an appointment, I was pleasantly surprised when she answered the phone herself--what a refreshing change from the normal, distanced, indirect way doctors typically communicate with patients. Dr. Hunt has been able to answer questions, write referrals, and refill prescriptions via text. Her thoughtfulness and warmth extend beyond office visits. She even gave me a handmade mask at the onset of COVID, and has sent personalized greeting cards to my family for the holidays. I have experienced difficulty navigating health insurance coverage and referrals, but Dr. Hunt has gone above and beyond to help me connect with other physicians with whom I feel comfortable, and has been willing to speak even with me, even on weekends and her "off-days" in order to book necessary appointments and procedures with specialists of my choice. She is truly a blessing to the Honolulu community and I highly recommend her. Thank you

Dr. Erin Hunt is the most in-tune, genuine, family practitioner / PCP that I’ve had. I move fairly frequently and am always apprehensive to switch PCPs, as there inherently comes unknowns with doing so: compatibility, professionalism, attention to detail, availability, level of care, etc. I’m more than happy to say that Dr. Hunt checks all those boxes and then some. Off the bat, she was able to see me on shorter notice & scheduled more than enough time to review my full medical history, place referrals & prescriptions, and to get to know me as a person. She’s very kind, very thorough, and incredibly responsive (many avenues of contact are offered)— as to where I’ve received messages after seeing a physician that she referred me to, to see how it went and if I needed any follow-ups. Dr. Hunt truly puts the patient first. Mahalo!
