The BEST
Dr. Conroy is hands down the best OB at NYU Langone, which says a lot, since the health system has a ton of excellent MDs. She’s extremely intelligent, straight forward and walks and talks your through any questions. If you want excellent care and an overall excellent doc - Dr Conroy is it.

Love her! I am not sure what the negative comments are about. The office overall is super busy, so if you are looking for a small-office feel with doctors that call you back themselves this may not be it, but that being said I had an extremely complicated pregnancy with many moving parts, and each time I called with an issue it was addressed timely and they were making an appt to see me immediately, same day. Dr. Conroy became one of the doctors I liked- she never rushed us out of an appt no matter how many questions I had and never made me feel silly for asking a question. She knew my story well and when I was developing an issue, consulted the high risk team right away. After I delivered (with a different dr who was on call) I stayed on the postpartum floor for longer due to complications, and she came and visited me to see how I was doing. I'd trust her with another pregnancy any day.

Terrible bedside manner. She came into my labor room and immediately said if I don't deliver in 4 hours I will need a c-section. She didn't even introduce herself or provide any other options. She essentially forced me to have a c-section and she was extremely rough during the surgery. My incision is still painful 6 months later with an 8in x 4 in area of parasthesia. Cold and uncaring. It's a shame she was the person on site when I was in labor. Will never go back to NYU.

Dr. Conroy is incredibly rude and rough when it came to an exam. Please take any away from patients her and put her in an office somewhere far from people.

Don't want to go into too much detail, but suffice it to say that I believe Dr. Conroy is soley responsible for detecting something that could have led to serious problems for me down the road. I highly recommend her.

I don't understand the comments regarding Dr. Conroy not returning calls - that was not my experience at all. I found her to be very responsive and would recommend her highly.

The office was clean and organized. I arrived a half hour early and they took me 15 minutes earlier than my appointment. who does that today? I was amazed. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. I was especially impressed with Dr. Conroy, she was kind, understanding and thorough. She new her stuff. She made me comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. My experience with her was excellent. Added bonus, she is associated with NYU Langone.

Irresponsible Doctor! Will not return messages, emails, ANYTHING. Will not call you once your test results come in. You're basically left to go on a wild goose chase to get your results. TERRIBLE. She plays like she's this nice Doctor, says to please call or email if you have any questions. But she never will.

Never returns calls/emails, sits on results, blatantly lied about test results - told me results were normal for certain tests, that I later found out she never ordered. I still have multiple calls into her office, and with the office manager to discuss, and of course calls have not been returned. I can go on and on. Stay away from her!!!
