This is a resident-run clinic that ONLY deals with medication for psychiatric issues. If you don't want or need meds they aren't doing much.  If you do need meds - they ONLY prescribe and monitor your meds.  You will see someone else for "talk therapy".  There can be a 2 - 4 month wait before you can see one of their talk therapists. This does nothing to help in a crisis. Frankly, it feels pretty damn irresponsible.  They do assign a caseworker to help you find resources including other therapists but that can take 3 - 4 weeks.  The list of therapists I received from the caseworker had to be a Google search with NO research. So, it's not like they are even giving you a list of people they recommend. The list of therapists for me (a middle-aged woman with personal issues) included a bariatric specialist,  a life coach, and a Forensic Neuropsychologist.  I can't even express how truly disappointed I am in Penn Behavioral Health.
