Allergy medical only
Dr Schoenberg is probably a good allergy doctor giving credit where credit is due, but not a top line cutting edge ENT doctor in my opinion. He never scoped my nasal cavity to investigate my nasal bleeding and at my second appointment didn’t remember it at all. The mucous cyst that the CT Scan showed in my sphenoidal sinus, he claimed was in my brain. I finally got to a head & neck surgeon who immediately scoped my nose found the lesion, biopsied it and verified cancer. If I had continued with Dr Schoenberg, I believe that I would still be searching for a true diagnosis and enduring elongated diagnosis procedures. However, I do thank his office for referring me to a real ENT Head and Neck surgeon when I sternly asked. Now on to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. I went from one star up to two stars for his allergy medical knowledge and plus referral to the surgeon that found my cancer.

Set up an appointment for my 85 year old father who has severe hearing loss. He drove an hour to the appointment. The Dr. walked in looked in his ears and gave him a prescription for hearing aids and walked out. We scheduled this appointment to get a thorough ear exam and to see if there were any options aside from hearing aids. Incredibly unprofessional.

Would not recommend
Not sure if this was the fault of office staff or uncaring doctor (or both) but the doctor said they would order tests but needed insurance approval and left, didn’t even check ears. The dr didn’t come back, just an asst. who escorted my son out. My son asked if he could at least look inside his ears and she said No. I think they erroneously thought we were part of an HMO, although the front desk correctly charged $90 for a specialist visit. Complete money grab, waste of time. Very upsetting.

Didn’t help me at all!!
To start the waiting time was ridiculously (1 hour and 20 minutes) inside his office took no more than 8 minutes, he was definitely trying to do everything quickly to get the next patient. He just checked my nose, mouth and ear ( like a general doctor does when you go for your annual physical) that’s it!!! All he said was that I needed to do an allergy test. He didn’t help me at all and I received a medical bill saying that he did a nasal endoscopy!!! What is wrong with this doctor? All he wants is just money because clearly he doesn’t care about his patients! I do not recommend Dr. Schoenberg!!

Just want to finish to get another patient
He just wants to finish the appointment quickly to see another patient I guess, he doesn't take any time to examine the patient or try to figure out what the problem is

I am really not sure how is this guy a specialist, the doctor doesn't have the right set of equipment's or tools to diagnose a problem. I am sure the doctor must be good but shouldn't be involved in unnecessarily extracting money from patients.

The office was very, very clean and the staff was excellent! The Doctor was awesome! The best doctor I've met in my life so far. We need more honest people in the world. A true "Health Care" professional. I was very impressed with him. Had an appointment at 11 am on Jan 12th.

Highly recommend Dr. Schoenberg. I suffered a dull earache with sharp pains for months. I saw a couple of doctors who treated it as an infection with no success. I saw a different ENT in Leesburg who insisted I suffered from TMJ & would not look any further. I knew I did NOT have TMJ. Luckily, I found Dr. Schoenberg. He listened to me (great quality in a Doc). He tested my jaw & confirmed I was not suffering from TMJ. He did several tests. He didn't give up until the process of elimination determined it is not an issue with my ear itself - probably neurological. He gave me his recommendations for the next step. Without Dr. Shoenburg I might never find out the cause of my earache. If your issue is related to your ears, I bet he will find it!

I visited Dr. Schoenbergs office and the doctor wouldn’t wear his mask over both his nose and mouth. I felt my issues/symptoms were dismissed and not considered serious enough for his time that day. This despite my assurance this issue had been happening for almost a years After that, while I engaged in hearing testing with a secondary recommended the office staff failed to contact me for over 4 weeks to schedule recommended allergy testing. When lab work was finally ordered, codes were wrong and tests couldn’t be conducted. After over 9 weeks I still have no answers, so I have switched my care to another ENT recommenced by my primary care physician.

Dr. Schoenberg is head and tails above all ENT's, and raises the bar on multiple levels. Believe me, as I tell you the past 35+ years of having breathing issues has been "no picnic", in the least bit, with me. I totally say it straight like it is via the complete facts, and as noted too, from my multiple reviews, and on multiple sites, to ensure others can take note, of providers and services, which deserve to be highlighted, for all the proper reasons, backed by accurate facts, from a real person, who enjoys giving positive credit, where it is rightfully deserved. Therefore, it is both my pleasure and my 100% personal choice, unprompted, nor asked in any way, to write this detailed review. Dr. Schoenberg is just plain awesome!!! From the moment I first came to visit him, at his Office in Sanford, in July, 2020, and upon meeting him and discovering his honesty, and fact finding, prior to jumping into the surgery route, he put me at total ease from day 1. Sincerely, Scott S

Him and his nurse wore what looked like a mask made from a super thin t-shirt. He could not keep his mask up at all. So his nose was exposed 98% of the time. The 2x he pulled it up, he pulled his mask up by grabbing the same piece that his fully visible nostrils had been breathing on. I had to remove my mask during the exam and I felt incredibly unsafe with him being in face face and performing exams. This is all very unsafe during Covid-19 and I do not recommend this office at all. He also tried to sell me a book instead of checking for the strain I had for thrush like my doctor told me would happen.

Dr. Schoenberg , preformed a biopsy on my throat because i lost my voice his results came back negative for cancer. So got another opinion from a Dr. Chheda at Shands ENT Clinic located on the campus of University of Florida as soon as Dr. Chedda heard me speak he said he did not believe the results from Dr. Schoenberg that i was cancer free...so he scheduled another biopsy and the results came back positive ...can you imagine being told by Dr.Schoenberg you don't have cancer then only to be re examined weeks later by Dr. Chheda to be told you do...had i not gotten a second opinion i would be running around thinking i am cancer free..

Yes! I would definitely recommend Dr. Schoenberg to relatives and friends. Everyone in the office was extremely helpful in answering all my questions concerning up coming visits and with my surgery. I am pleased Dr. Schoenberg took the time to listen about my symptoms before he examined me. Also thankful he just did not want to fill with meds that may or may not work. I do prefer doctors who want to NOT give meds to their patients, but to help treat the issue in other ways. Thanks Dr. Shoenberg!
