Rude and dismissive. Didn't listen or help.
My visit with Dr. Reitter last week was awful. The appointment was rushed and he did not take time to listen to my sleep issues or jaw troubles. He's gets hostile and offended if you ask him a question. Left the appointment feeling hopeless.

A Compassionate and Thorough Specialist
I was initially a bit nervous about my visit due to the doctor’s reputation for being tough, but I was pleasantly surprised. He spent two full hours reviewing my history, listening to my jaw pain and concerns, and truly taking the time to understand my situation. He was patient, compassionate, and even let me get emotional without an ounce of judgment. He also ordered an MRI to be sure nothing was overlooked. I left feeling heard, supported, and confident in his care. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of a specialist!

Dr. Reitter
Dr. Reitter is the best. My husband, son and I have all received the best possible care from Dr. Reitter in both emergency and non-emergency situations. He has a wonderful bedside manner and truly takes the time to listen to his patients. We would not even consider seeing another provider and we appreciate his high standards of care.

Chronic Pain is Gone
Dr Reitter deals with people who are in chronic pain and i am one of them. I was not my best self during the appointment (to say the least) and he and his staff showed me nothing but kindness and empathy. He is one of the only specialists in the area whose can truly treat all of my pain - I can't thank him enough for helping me. I thought being a surgeon he would try to get me to have surgery but he actually really focused on habits n treatments to get me better. I can't even imagine having to deal with people n pain all the time.

Horrible Experience
Absolutely AVOID this doctor and practice at all costs. I have had the most horrendous experience. I went in for a TMJ consult after a year of chronic pain. Reitter told me it was “probably stress and to get through my upcoming wedding and see what happens”After this outrageous appointment, I got a bill for another $600. I had it in writing the cost of the consult beforehand, which I paid after the visit. They have refused to dispute the bill, and now have not responded to me in months. I have never spoken to more unprofessional, and unkind people in any professional capacity.

Amazing Doctor
Have been a patient almost 5 years. From my reconstructive bi lateral jaw joint surgery to continued care to help manage my TMJ pain/ degenerative disc disease, and osteoarthritis he/staff have been patient, understanding, and aim to provide the best care possible! I drive 3 hrs to see him! I would drive 12 if I had too!

Actual Specialist
Dr Reitter is the only specialist in the area treating facial pain and it shows. He and his staff know what they are doing and offer so many non-surgical options for relief. The appointment was 30 minutes long and I felt listened to. My pain is at the lowest it's been in years.

If you want a doctor who responds to questions with hostility, Dr. Reitter is for you! He walked out of the room mid-visit. Poor understanding of medications & anger issues. The office staff lied about procedures that were supposed to be done but weren't. What should have taken 3 weeks (splint) has taken 6. I had to call for follow-up info as they failed to provide it. They failed to mention which office my appointment was at & tried to blame it on me with no resolution. Beware. I won't go back.
