Dr. Erik Polan, DO

Dr. Polan was the attending physician for my mom at Roxborough Memorial. He left discharge orders, but never saw her when she left. I tried calling his office three times in three days to get clarification on his instructions. No return call. When I called the third time, the receptionist said someone left a note in my mom’s file saying they called my cell but the mailbox was full. That was a straight out lie. Then she says I cannot get any clarification on the instructions for the meds prescribed unless I bring my mom in. Her discharge orders say she is to see him in 10 days. But I don’t even know if the meds are being given to her correctly to make a visit worth the time and money. I have no idea if this doctor is competent but, if his office staff is any indication, he’s absolutely horrible.
