Dr. Eric Sugihara, DO

I had pain in my ear and sudden loss of hearing in my left ear. I went to see the dr two weeks after the incident. He asked me to fo hearing test. The test was scheduled for 3 weeks after my appointment. Then he told me your left ears hearing is very low. We need to get an MRI on that. In the mean time drink water and low sodium. Then my MRI was scheduled for two weeks after that dr visit. When I finally got the MRI results and called dr office and then had visit on the phone, he said for sudden hearing loss we prescribe Steroids, but yours now is more than 3 weeks and Steroids won’t work. You had to have it in first 3 weeks of the incident. I told him you didn’t tell me the process and all the tests you asked me to do were time sensitive. Now i had lost the chance of getting better by having steroids. Why you didn’t give it to me when I first came to see you or at least tell your staff that my situation is time sensitive and schedule my tests early. I am so sorry for myself

After suffering from chronic sinusitis and a never ending cough for over one year dr. Sugihara performed a very thorough sinus operation at st. Jude medical center. My symptoms were gone that nite with no pain and very little bleeding. He did an outstanding operation. I give dr. Sugihara a five star rating.

Dr. Sugihara has an exceptional bedside manner. He’s compassionate and gives you hope. He always answers all my questions and talks me through procedures step by step. I have Meneire’s Disease which has no cure and is a journey in finding what works for each patient. I feel very confident in his treatment protocol.
