very poor half doctor, cant prescribe anything more than over the counter stuff and will let you suffer as he ducks your calls and has his doctor students run interference.

I have only had a teledoc appointment with Dr. Sladek but it went well. His office staff is wonderful!

Drs Sladek and Bibi are listed as specialists with Medicaid and cannot be chosen as PCP because of that. It's a recent change, I'm guessing because they wanted to get rid of Medicaid. There was NO warning. Their cash payment in lieu of insurance is 146 dollars and some change, a real ripoff when considering you barely get to see either doctor and typically get a student doing their internship instead. They will also do three missed appts you're out - which would be fine, except they leave you high and dry with no refills for medicine that must be weaned off and not just stopped. You will have to scramble to find another doc or go to walkin clinic if you dare get in the way of their almighty dollars. It's a cruel way to be as a doc office. Recommend stay away or beware missing appts for illness or hospital.

He was awesome, addressed some ongoing issues that my previous physician ignored, made appropriate referrals, explained everything to me.

I was a patient of Dr.Sladek from March (or April) to Sept 2020 and my new primary discovered that I have been prediabetic for a yr now ( it's in my records!!!) and NO ONE told me so now I'm full blown Diabetic! Who doesn't tell their patients that they are PREDIABETIC for MONTHS???? That lead me to now being full blown Diabetic and I BLAME HIM! HAD I KNOWN I COULD HAVE BEEN PROACTIVE AND POSSIBLY NEVER GOT DIABETES!! I would absolutely NOT recommend this man, obviously he's a pretty crappy Dr!!!

I'm not sure about other people's issues but mine are completely opposite. I have never spent more than 10 minutes in the waiting room and I see a PA AND Dr. Sladek at every visit. I find them easy to talk to, helpful and feel that Dr. Sladek is an active listener. As for insurance issues... this a physician group, individual doctors do not make those decisions and although I understand wanting a physical person to be angry at, he cant be the one to blame.

You will not see Dr. Sladek except on the initial visit. The doctors are actually residents at Oak Hill Hospital and they only see patients as they cycle through on four to six weeks intervals. If you might need to see “your” doctor on an emergency basis, you probably will not have that privilege. Some good doctors but bear in mind that they do not have an ongoing “practice” and office where they serve clients routinely. This service is NOT recommended to establish a relationship with a doctor for continuing service. This is my personal observation.

If possible, a ZERO!!!! I AGAIN WAS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS OFFICE BECAUSE, “WE NO LONGER TAKE YOUR INSURANCE!” REALLY? Had incorrect insurance information on file and again, VERNA TORRES, although present, was too important to pick up the phone & speak with me as per Sladek’ Instruction. A very polite “Ashley”, (whom has scheduled prior visits), did her best to assist, but by then the credibility of his entire practice was in question. Farewell

I did as you asked, called for Verna Torres on Monday, 6 May 2019, @ approximately 1038hrs. Receptionist answering stated that the practice manager (Veronica Torres was on the phone and that she could take the appointment booking. I advised her that I was instructed by Dr. Sladek to book an appointment through the practice manager. Receptionist stated that Ms Torres was on the phone and could she call me back. I indicated that she could and gave her full callback information. After not receiving the callback, I again called the office, @ or about 1700hrs. and was advised that the practice manager had left for the day and could she call me in the morning, Tuesday morning, I agreed. 0537hrs. now, I’ll be up.,,

So cute and friendly definitely someone I felt comfortable talking to about my problems. Very out going person , you can truly tell he cares about his patients.
