Amazing! My Oncologist did not want me to have a radio frequency ablation into the tumor in my liver. I trusted my surgeon who recommended Dr. Muldestad. He was easy to understand, and very patient with me in particular considering my 'off' sense of humor (I kept calling him Doogie Howser because he's so young looking. But I don't think he liked it). The odds were not in favor of it helping me much, but I had the procedure done in early 2019 and its now late 2024 and not only did the tumor shrink, it's basically completely dissipated to a mere calcification along what would have been the outer margin of the resection that was done to remove the initial tumors, of which one had recurred. I love this dude (sorry, I mean Doctor) and if I ever need an intervention radiologist again I will definitely seek him.

On March 18, 2020, Dr Moldestad performed a TACE procedure on me. He was summoned in the 11th hour to perform this and I am glad he was available. TACE is not an easy procedure and it takes a highly skilled doctor to undertake it. He did an excellent job. My Oncologist viewed the MRI and said he could not have asked for better results. I am very grateful to Dr Moldestad and I recommend him most highly. Thank you, Dr Moldestad.

I met Dr. Moldestad when I needed to have a craniotomy. Dr. Moldestad was needed to cut off all the blood vessels that were feeding the tumor in my head, prior to the actual surgery. He was very patient and kind and agreed to meet us at short notice, and he was very patient in discussing the procedure and answering all our questions. He was very personable and my craniotomy went very well - no doubt Dr. Moldestad's work the day before was crucial. I would recommend him to anyone.
