My Primary Care Doctor
See him once a year and tell him what I feel. He lets me know what the lab and the other information is telling him. I am controlling the aging well with his guidance.

Not satisfied
Wasted money to pay for labs when all the labs he redrew, was 1 month old. Then he ordered meds without refills. I am already on these meds for a long time prior to him. I am stable. He wants to schedule an appointment just to charge me yet again. I am not willing to keep seeing him each time he gives refills, prescribing same medications, same dose. Does not make any sense.

Better doctor than I am a patient
I've been a patient for many years, but tend towards self-care. I'm not sure he liked that much in the past, but since I've taken up regular annual visits, we seem to be getting along well. He has a pleasant chair side manner; he can relate to the current state of the industry and understands our concerns from the 'other side' of table. Good stuff if you care about your health, your access to care, and health care costs.

Over 5 years of consistency
Dr. Miknich and his assistant, Alex, are efficient, kind, and direct. He has even stopped what he is doing, looked me in the eye, and stated that my health is his priority. I see him 4 times a year in 3 month intervals to check in on health and re prescribe meds. I don't feel like he overheats. I think he listens and ultimately gives me the final word. I no longer dread visits.

Dr. Miknich is a good fit for me
My former doctor retired and I went with Dr. Miknich from the same organization. Here's what I appreciate about him. He listens , he's quick to the point, takes a pretty laid back approach, and when I 'age out', he'll take me on Medicare. AND he's got a great MA in Alex that does a super job.

Excellent thorough care
I was required to do an EKG and prepare myself for surgery outside of the state. My doctor was very thorough and comprehensive in his overview and exam, and extremely supportive in preparing me for the surgery. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a knowledgeable and thoughtful physician.

Typical Outstanding Service for PCA
I went to Dr. Miknich for a condition that was not resolving. Like other visits to him over the last ten years, scheduling and check in were easy. His nurse started the appointment on time. Dr. Miknich took the time to evaluate my condition, describe the options going forward, patiently answer my questions, and implement the agreed upon course of action. He made sure to check in on my general health and not focus on this one ailment. He is great.

Annual Checkup. I have been seeing Dr. Miknich for more than 10 years. He and his staff are excellent. Appointments are punctual. Dr Miknich is one of the most pragmatic physicians I have had experience with. Great questions, responsive to questions, and no-nonsense advice.
