Dr. Eric Metz, DO

Dr Metz was the best physician I have ever had. he cares so much for his patients and is very quick but thorough. I recommend him to anyone needing an orthopedic. his MA's are very helpful and kind.

Dr. Metz was very kind and courteous with me. His office staff was wonderful. I would definitely go back.

Make sure he does his job/procedure thoroughly before you leave his office!!!!! Otherwise, once you leave his office and notice a week later he did not do the procedure like he said he would in the first place, he will charge you again. He was suppose to take care of 2 cysts and once done, he places a bandaid over area. I kept bandaid on for a week, took it off and noticed that he did not take care of 2nd cyst. So I called his office and they said no guarantee and I would be charged again.

The office did not have the x-rays that were made prior to the visit; wanted to make more but I refused -- doubt that insurance would pay for a second set. The doctor did not seem interested in treating an older woman with arthritis and offered advice that, for the most part, I had read on-line. -- gave me a sheet of paper with suggestions and others with exercises, whether they are appropriate for my condition was not clear.

Dr. Metz was my father's surgeon after my father fell and broke his hip. I found Dr. Metz to be very professional, very personable, an excellent surgeon and a very caring doctor. He checked on my father every day and closely followed his care and recovery in the hospital. Unfortunately, my father, who was 92 years old, developed pneumonia while in the hospital, and died ten days after the surgery. Dr. Metz always listened to my concerns regarding my father.
