Dr. Eric Lubliner, MD

I had a visit with Dr. Lubliner at City MD Bedstuy for a PCR test due to suspected exposure to Covid-19. It was probably the worst experience I have had my entire life with a doctor. Not only was extremely rude, condescending, and gaslighted my request to have both a Rapid test as well as a PCR, his bedside manners were atrocious. (I had only gone to Med Rite at the time in NYC which gave both Rapid & PCR if you asked. In other drive-thru testing sites, I had gotten a PCR--accurate and far less painful and more well-executed than the one performed by Dr. Lubliner at his time at City MD BedStuy--who were not MDs, but kind nurses.) During the entire exchange, he belittled my intelligence by telling me that "it is a myth" that a Rapid test is less accurate than a PCR test. He repeated to me that he was a "doctor" and emphasized that even if I were to get a PCR test "nothing would be different" in how I would use that information. Horrible. Horrible. I felt incredibly dehuamized.
